I am living in Mexico (married) with my husband (Mex National) and my mother in the US will be the joint sponsor. We are mailing the I-130 tomorrow to Chicago Lockbox and I would love to include the I-864 also. Is this possible or not? Thank you.

no, not at this stage. for now it's only the i130. the approved i130 will be sent to the NVC, National Visa Center and they will request the rest of the forms, payments and documents, including the i864.

You can't get ahead of the game, one move at a time so you can pay more money, they are self supporting.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Nope you can´t do that....the I-864 will be sent at NVC which is about 6-9 months away from the date you submit your I-130...start preparing for the electronic processing which you will need all this scanned:

the I-864 and/or the I-864A

supporting financial evidence

then:

2 2x2 pictures of your husband (back and front) and on the back it has to have your husbands name on it

evidence of a bonafide marriage

his birth certificate

your marriage certificate

good luck :)

Sent I-130---------6/6/11

NOA1---------------6/10/11

Touched------------6/15/11

Touched------------8/9/11

NOA2---------------10/14/11 :) yeeeaaahh no RFE´s

Interview----------02/10/12 ***** :) a piece of cake!!

Got Visa in hand---02/13/12 in Morelia,Mich.

You submit the petition and its specific supporting documents now. (NOT..."just the I-130") Affidavits of support must be current AFTER the petition is approved, so will contain 2011 tax return and state current income at that time, several months from now. One step at a time. One government agency at a time. Follow the CR1 guide. And post your question is the CR1 forum. You are not pursuing a K3 visa.

issnodgrasswhy to submit something 'out of step' ? What is your reasoning behind this?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I am curious about new DCF. Does the NVC or the embassy process the I-864?

It is my understanding that for petitioners overseas once the petition is approved then the embassy requests the I864 with the Packet IV like the old DCF process.

Anyone made it this far through the process since August?

i don't get it.
