were on 5 months waiting for our noa2 this month january but till now we can't check our case status to USCIS site my fiancee called up and he been told before that their system was not yet updated but till now still same..and how come a lot of august filers been approved last December including my cousin?i don't know what to do were advised not to call uscis always coz it might cause of denial:-(

If you have a NOA1, then you'll get a notice soon. It's not time to call the USCIS yet. As long as you have the NOA1, I wouldn't worry too much. They have just picked back up and mine was processed and sent to me yesterday. No email, no text, just recieved it in my American mailbox like a Passalubong.

You should search this site and read. Someone is giving you wrong information. You can also read how they process the files if you search for it.

You can call as many times as you want and it will have nothing to do with a decision ( approval or denial). But it can make you crazy if you keep hearing the same answer. So just wait a bit more. Your notice will come soon.
