Time frame - From USCIS to NVC

OK, so for what I'm seeing the NVC IS taking over a month to approve, we have been in there since Dec. 8th and nothing yet, uggghhhh, this is killing us, hopefully we don't get an RFE. Anyway then after that gets closed it should be another 2 to 3 months for the !@#$% interview in Tegucigalpa Honduras... so we wait, again and again and again...

This sucks if it's taking up to one month for the NVC to approve the case. I guess I will try once a week until my case is approved, and I just called today.

Adjustment of Status Journey

July 05, 2012: Sent package off to Chicago

July 13, 2012: NOA received via email & text

July 16, 2012: Checked cashed

July 19, 2012: Received hard copy Form I-797C in the mail

July 21, 2012: Biometrics letter arrived by mail

July 31, 2012: AOS trransferred to CSC

Aug. 07, 2012: Biometrics completed

Ok, I think this needs to be addressed; Processing at the NVC takes different times for different Visas. For example, those waiting for an NVC Case number with regards to their I-129f can expect to wait 2 weeks... this is taking much longer though!

I don't know what the expected wait at NVC is for other visas.

Soooooooo,

My USC Fianceé just called the USCIS, asked to be transferred to a Tier 2 Officer.

Got through to one of them, they took all the information from her and said that our case HAS been sent to the NVC but they can't see WHEN it was sent.

They said wait a week and then call the Tier 2 people back again... :bonk::ranting::mellow::o:wow:
