I have been waiting on an NOIR (notice of intent to revoke) Since the USCIS received my petition back in July. They have finished their review and now they tell me its being reviewed by Supervisor. Will it ever end? I can't just abandon my husband and not call him anymore cos he has not done anything wrong. So what do I do? I have cried until my face is swollen, I have even seen gray hair coming in my head. This whole process is very unhealthy for me. I have stopped praying for his arrival and started prayer for my health issues. I hope our love survives this crisis. Good luck to all my VJ friends. I am down but not out.

That seemed alittle Coldhearted. A Revoke is a Denial.

Hi Olami, please don't give up. When did you receive a letter from the uscis saying its being reviewed by the supervisor?. What i think you should be receiving is a notice of intent to revoke and they will give you 30days to respond and in the letter they will send to you, there are evidence they will request from you and you have to make sure that you provide all those evidences then you'll give them another two weeks or less for them to send to you a reaffirmed letter if they are satisfied with the evidence submitted by you.

Please don't give up you are very close to getting your final decision. Like i once told you i went through what you are going through now and to God be the glory my case was reaffirmed and thanks be to God i got the visa. What you need to do now is start gathering all the evidences you can gather and wait for their intent to revoke and once you get it submit the evidence as soon as possible the earlier you submit the earlier you get a reply from them. I am very certain that your case will be reaffirmed very soon. Please stop crying, wipe off your tears and put up a lovely smile on your face because your case is about to end. Don't stop praying continue to pray for quick response from uscis. I wish you God's blessing.

Olami...It's ok to feel a little pity, but we can't let you wallow. Besides SOME members on VJ, your husband is your biggest supporter and he's experiencing all that you're experiencing even if he isn't saying so and he loves you gray hair or no hair. Use this time to gather what need, pray that God shows you what was overlooked. Maybe you need letters from family/friends offering what they know about your marriage or if this is the time to work on you thank God for it and praise your way through. Continue planning your March trip, it could be just what you need to prove this is real (don't forget to apply for your visa and make copies of your itinerary to send as evidence if you get the NOIR soon).

All is well even when your eyes can't see it!

That seemed alittle Coldhearted. A Revoke is a Denial.

And when she recieves it she can refute it. Until then she is in a holding pattern which is where the problem is. She is fully prepared to respond to the NOIR

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I have all the documents and pictures ready to send. I am just waiting on the NOIR so that I can send it right back the same day[/size]. I also made an appointment with the local USCIS office here to see what info they can give me about supervisor review. Who Knows! maybe they will say they sent it to the supervisor for reaffirm approval and they have sent it back. (wishful thinking). But I am trying to keep hope alive.

You can cry over it or take action. Assuming you haven't done so already, be on the phone everyday; demand answers; email the supervisor and the supervisor's director with a copy to your senator and your lawyer (if you have one). Heck! go to change.org and start a petition! I don't know if that will help at all, but I'm just throwing it out there.

I swear, I was on the phone with Cairo's embassy, so much, when the ladies at the consular section heard my voice they called me by name and asked about the weather in NY. I kid you not, it got to a point where on one call, the lady told me: "listen, someone just canceled their interview for next week due to the revolution, do you want the spot?"

Sometimes we have to be tenacious and agressive, because it is our lives and we must take action. We can't let others decide for us. Unfortunately this process defies that, but the better prepared we are, the more proactive and organized we are, the greater the chances of success. However, if the outcome is not what we wanted, please never forget this: Rejection is God's protection. Always think that the outcome may be disappointing, not because you don't deserve it, but because God knows you deserve better. These folks do not deserve your health. Do not give them that. They are taking your right to consumate your marriage. Do not give them anything else. Claim back what's yours and your husband will follow.

Light and blessings.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.
