Being a student doesn't stop someone from having a bank account. They may not buy that story.

First of all, I'm not trying to sell any story  And i never said he doesn't have a bank account, I said we don't have a joint bank account, i really dont see the point in opening a joint one when we currently don't have any income.

My interview is tomorrow and I already have all my documents ready  Excited!!!!!

Hi guys

Ithink i'm in the right forum to post my questions and i hope you can help with the answeres. My son is in the USA on B2 tourist visa and overstayed, and he is planing to marry his girlfriend who is a citizen but we heard that they might send him in our coutry to wait for his green card.Is that true because he is a student there also has a good job doesn't make sense to return him home.We are also waiting for our family F4 visa to become available our case is completed and closed just for VB to become current. So if he marry her can he adjust status there without returning home?I'm so worry about this please any advice from you would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You should start your own thread for a new question that is not really related to the one you posted under.. you'll also get more replies.

Yes, he can adjust status within the US if he marries a US citizen. He shouldn't leave the US until he has a greencard if he has overstayed, because he most likely is now subject to a 3 or 10 year ban to the US which will take effect if he leaves before receiving the greencard.

He shouldnt have any problems...

he would only get sent back (deported) if there is a reason of admissibility (criminal record or disease) or if he came to the us illegally.
