Hi All,

So even though we are just starting the process, I am still wondering what I might need to do to arrange a psych evaluation very quickly. Long story short as a young'n I was a bit stupid and attempted suicide. Nope, not proud of it, yes it was adolescence and me being foolish but from everything I am reading I will still need a psych evaluation.

Do I 'HAVE' to be referred by the Knightsbridge doctors, or is this something I can knowingly go and get done to hand them at the interview so that we can at least TRY and expedite some things for me?

Thanks!

Actually I have a good few questions about this as I see it as the major area where I might fall down on.

Coupled with the points above, I was prescribed Antidepressants two years ago. Funny thing is I went to the doctor because I had migraines, but I'm starting to wonder just what this is going to look like on paper. It's been two years since I stopped taking them, I've even quit smoking since but I'm worried that anti depressants and one suicide attempt out of stupid youth is going to seriously cause a problem for us getting me in the USA.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Or if I'm screwed can I know now so I can start applying for her to come to the UK!

Thanks!
