I did a random check and saw that most numbers beyond wac1190601003 are still not approved and below that case no. most are already approved. What I did was change the last 1 or 2 numbers... and I also changed the 9 here in the case no. i posted and made it 3 and 4 and found most cases approved too. try it!

You can't always go by the numbers in chronological order. Some are not on the same desk and it depends on which petitions are being looked at.

..but I understand why you look though :) I admit doing it a couple of times while the i-129f was sitting and collecting dust.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

haha you're right. :-) I realized it's not really in chronological order after I tried more than a hundred numbers. At least I now have an idea that our files (we have 2 i-130's)are on the "slow" desk, while some amount of numbers in chronological order have been decided already. And we're past the 5th month mark now and waiting patiently is becoming a struggle lately. Thanks for understanding my attempt to kill my frustration though. :-)

Swing,

Essentially what I am doing here starting at WAC1190519000 if this helps any.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/343684-paisamans-i-130-csc-statistics/

What I have learned is that the case numbers are wildly out of order when it comes to date. Such as WAC1190584875 (July 29th) and WAC1190618560 (July 6th).

The only thing I can think of to account for that is the initial acceptance process has to be done by hand in batches and some get lost in the stack.

What I see is a handful of cases approved each week for each day, with the bulk of the processing occurring around a specific time as cases are whittled away. Its like they grab the easy ones (english speaking visa friendly countries first like UK) and leave the harder ones till they have to?

Just a thought.
