I had my biometrics done today at Chula Vista, CA ASC office. As many others, I did not have very high expectations in terms of GREAT customer service, as government institution tend to have a pretty bad reputation - rude attitude, inconsidered people, crowded space..and so on and on... BUT I was pleasentely surprised!!:)

Appointment was for 1pm, and I've arrived around 1:05pm. The guard gave me the form to fill out, check the ID and issued the number. I set down with others and waited for about 20 min reading a magazine until my number was called. There were about 10 people ahead of me, and 4 workers handled actual fingerprinting so the line moved pretty fast. The lady that did my prints was really pleasant and friedly. She reviewed the sheet I filled out and the ID info verifying my address, height, and weight, and making jokes like - "Let's see, is your hair really blonde? Okay. Color of the eyes? Let me see closer, we cannot make a mistake!" or "I need some help spelling your middle name, how on earth can you pronounce that!" LOL:)

The figerprinting process itself took about 5 min thanks to the modern lifescan technology. I was out of there in no time. Wish for others to have as easy going experiences as mine, and hope the rest of my VJ will be as smooth!:)
