Had my AOS interview this morning at USCIS New Orleans. Appointment was at 11am but we got there around 10.20am. The lady called us around 11.30. She was nice and did not questioned us alot of stuffs. She said we are approved and will receive green card in about 2-3 weeks. We did not get any txt/email confirmation today. I hope they update our case asap. Interview lasted about 20mins! We are so happy and will visit my home country as soon as I get my green card! thanks to all the help VJ friends!

Anybody here knows how long it will take for them to update our case status?

And I also wanna add that the lady did not give us the approval letter. Ive seen people here on VJ got approval letter on their interview day when they got approved. Is that normal that I did not get one?

Thanks in advance! :)

We received a txt message and email after our AOS interview saying our case was approved / card production was ordered but we weren't given an approval letter either. I received my "Welcome Letter" 7 days after my interview and my green card 2 days after that. ^_^
