I-485 transferred, what about I-765 and I-130

Today my I-485 application status changed saying it has been transferred to a different office for processing. The status of the I-765 and I-130 applications remain unchanged. Are they still processed at the National Benefits Center or are they also transferred without the status being updated?

Thanks,

Bob.

Why did you file I-130 if, from your other posts, you arrived on a K-1 visa?

The EAD and AP are a combo card. You will receive the EAD card with "serves as I-512 advanced parole" or something like that on it.

Bob - I actually filed mid-September, but becuase of a mixup at my Bank and calling in sick for Biometrics, I think I added about 2.5 months of stupid delay to the process. So, I guess that sounds right?

Well today I received the written confirmation of the transfer and it says it's transferred to California to speed up processing. I still don't get why the I-485 application was transferred but not the I-131 or I-765.

I had assumed that it would have been transferred to the local office, but obviously not. I wish I had a clue about what was going on.

Transfers to CSC are EXTREMELY common. The I-765 and I-131 weren't sent to the same place as each other or the I-485. Once your initial packet arrived at chicago it was all split up and the applications sent off to different places. That's how it works. There are many hundreds of threads about CSC transfers. You will receive another letter in about a week that says "local office" but that's just confirming it arrived at CSC.

If you receive a letter with the name of your local office on it (e.g. for it's Des Moines, IA) then you should expect an interview for your AOS.

I-131 and I-765 are adjudicated at NBC. The rest of your file is now on the road to be adjudicated at CSC.

OK, I-765 has been approved, approval notice sent and online status indicates card production. On the instructions for the I-9 form it states "If an employee is unable to present a required document the employee must present an acceptable receipt in lieu of the document listed...

... employees must present receipts within three business days of the date employment begins and must present valid replacement documents within 90 days"

Does the approval notice count as "an acceptable receipt"?

Thanks,

Bob.
