I wish I could walk more, but at least for now, I'm not in a city. I hate jet leg too, much as I love travelling! Okay, right now my timeline shows this: "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 16, 2012 and June 2, 2012." That's a pretty long wait, but I know it will go quickly. And my fiance will be here during that time too!

He's hoping to come for a few months to visit me, so we can look for an apartment or a house to rent together and do some more wedding planning and choosing furniture for our place. Of course, this is if they don't get suspicious at the POE! Hopefully they won't, as we are genuinely trying to do this legally. How long is your fiance coming to visit you?

he only visits me for a week! that's why it is so darn expensive! we both have full time jobs, he only has 12 days of holidays a year, I have 25 but still trying to play around those days is pretty hard.After each week seeing each other is just getting harder and harder so you are really lucky if he can stay with you longer

Yeah he's leaving his job in March to come and stay with me He has a mortgage and the usual bills, so we're hoping those are strong enough ties. They usually question the women more than the men when travelling to see a fiance anyway. This will be the only time we've been able to do this, as I'm in a new job and he's already used his vacation days. We got two weeks twice in 2011 and we felt lucky to be able to do that.

we thought about the same thing but decided to wait since we have no idea how long will it take to get the visa plus I don't have a luxury of being in my own country, once I leave my job there will be nothing to come back to here and my 6months tourist admit might not be enough to have the whole process finished.

oh yes you are right, you had it delivered 01-16 but cashed 01-20.. I keep forgetting we had a weekend in a way so probably have it within 2-3 days... this will be a nerve wracking experience still worth it!

In the end we decided not to plan too much until we are approved, I always tend to get disappointed when things don't go according to my plan so on this occasion we will just wait, save some money and make long term plans for when I am already in the States

I hope so too. If not, we'll move the wedding by a month or two and all will be fine I don't know, I've never loved weddings, but I really want to have a small one and to do everything the way we want it. It's costing a bit more than I'd like, but i'm glad I'll be able to have a nice ceremony We're hoping to have some nice savings when he sells the house so that we can get one of our own after we're established.

Update: my fiancé woke me up this morning ( his evening) saying he just got a text from USCIS at 11.50 pm, a little weird . I was trying to check where are we going to be processed but when I typed my number on the USCIS website it says my case couldn't be found ...

Your fiancee forgot to tell you that the e-mail says that the tracking number likely won't be active until You receive your NOA1. My number didn't start working until this past Saturday or Sunday, so I'd wait a few days and try again. I'm so glad that you got the text! Maybe he didn't get an e-mail, but it does say that the tracking will take a few days. At least now you can have some peace of mind

I'm not sure if they will be able to be there. I would love to have his parents and his best man there, but it all depends on his grandmother's health at the time. I'm excited for you too! I was worried constantly until I got my NOA1, so I know the feeling. If they can't come, we'll visit them in 2013 and have a party in his country. Now it's just time to wait and hope things move smoothly and quickly
