Yay!!!!!!! We have the NVC number....do I contact my embassy now? And what do I say???

Congrats!!!

now you need to keep calling NVC to make sure they sent your package.. after that we waited 3 days and then emailed the embassy and requested an interview date.. I am not sure what the procedure is for your country. if you contact them or if they contact you :)

Is this for college graduation? if so, what major?

I graduated in 2008 from UGA (biology-major). Currently, I am working towards my PhD in Microbiology..

Medical went fine. My fiance is going to pick up the medical results on thursday. We are getting close to the interview. Paperwork ready and sent to fiance (my mom flew to Lima on sunday and she took the paperwork with her for my fiance :) ).

As I write this my fiancee is inside the US consulate Mumbai for her K-1 interview!!! Ah...can't wait for some good news!

As I write this my fiancee is inside the US consulate Mumbai for her K-1 interview!!! Ah...can't wait for some good news!

My fiancee called me in the middle of the night here and SHE GOT THE VISA!!!! They concluded the interview with the typical questions and then looked at some photos and then they said that your visa has been approved and will be returned to you by courier or the VFS center...fingers crossed she will be here in the next 7-10 days!

Thanks for everyones support through all the happy and frustrating moments over the past 7-8 months!! Best wishes to everyone!
