Hi Guys,

Our file is on its way to the embassy in Lima. NVC received our file on Monday and it was processed and sent yesterday. I was not able to get the case number because they had the wrong DOB of my fiance. I have no clue how they got this error. I checked all our forms and in none of those is the DOB wrong. I was told to send a copy of my fiance's passport to the NVC e-mail (NCVINQUIRY@STATE.GOV). I did so yesterday and called today to see whether the change was made, but now i was told that the case was already forward to the embassy  BUT, we have to contact the embassy so they can fix my fiance's DOB. What a mess. At least we are moving in a good direction, but it truly irritates me when clerical errors are made. We did the best we could to make sure no mistakes were made with the forms and everything. Oh well...

Just wanted to update my fellow December peeps

Good luck to all you

Got an email back from NVC inquiry stating that they cant find my file and to send an email to nvc research with a scanned NOA2...this is really something else :( freaking me out. I cant do anything else or any suggestions? Anyone?

Hey, we're all in the same boat here. I guess we just gotta wait it out. There isn't a thing that we can do at the moment. (already sent email to my state Senator, asked USCIS....)

Packet 3 Received : Called DOS on 07/3 and package 3 sent out. We didn't wait for the "physical" package. My fiance' mailed DS2001 and DS230 part I

out the next day via EMS. You don't have to wait for pkg3. You can download and fill it out ahead of time.

SO..IM SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!

**** NEWS FLASH****

Those of us who got out NOA2 on or after MAY 14th 2012...GUESS what our appilcations are still sitting at CSC waiting for then to compile enough to sent to NVC in new hamshire!! Outrage!!!

On May 14, 2012, my I-129F my PETITION FOR FIANCE was approved (so thats the good news!) BUT!!!!!!!!!

I still havent got a case number yet from NVC, despite my daily calls to NVC...so today I called USCIS (as its been 3 weeks and more than 15 business days) and I spoke with a supervisor after waiting for 45 minutes and we found out its still sitting at USCIS CSC office as they only send out approved petitions from time to time and they are waiting to compile enough to send out to NVC...crazy or what!!!! Not fair!!! We all wait so long to be re-united with our loved ones and our packet is sitting around still!!! They said hopefully by the end of this week it will go out to NVC..grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

So i did a little research scrolling back on this posting and

All the people who got approved just 5 days before us (like May 7.8.9,10,11)went to the NVC and got case numbers (and yes I have genuinely happy for all of you!!! :) ) around May 20-23rd exactly 2 weeks.

But those of us who got out NOA2 on or after MAY 14th 2012...GUESS what our appilcations are sitting at CSC waiting for them to "get enough applications to send all at once"

HAVENT WE WAITED LONG ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least we have each other to vent!!!

awaiting NVC case number

Hey! We're in the same boat. Our I-129F was approved on May 15 and received the I-797 a few days later stating the case will be forwarded to NVC. It's been 5 weeks, so we have been frantically calling USCIS and NVC. My fiance spoke to the supervisor's supervisor which is what you would call 3rd tier supervisory. Finally, the lady said that USCIS sends out cases in batches (just like what said people said in this forum) and our case was just forwarded to NVC on June 19 and asked us to wait a couple more days. Good grief. We are gonna keep calling NVC and USCIS next week.

The representatives that picked up our calls have different answers every time and don't know what they're talking about! Argh. So to all others out there going through the same thing, don't give up and keep calling!

Yep! I have thw same thing. I got my approval on 5/14 but no records at NVC :( ...i sent an email with a scanned approval and got a reply, that they(nvc) will call USCIS to follow up with the documents( since they dont have it)...how can they just let those docs sit and wait for weeks to send it off??? Dont make any sense at all.

Thanks for the update...makes more sense. I can quit being paranoid ;(

Well, I dont trust anything from these guys anymore. According to VG1985, they shipped out some on 6/6. My NOA2 is the same as you guys here. NVC already received cases that got their NOA2 around the end of May. This stinks.

I got a supervisor this evening and they said the date got updated b/c they finally decided to send out the shipmentfrom CSC to NVC on Wed 6/6...so fingers crossed for all us folks from May approved NOA2 at California that it is enroute now to new hampshire!!! the waiting again after we have already waited almost 4 weeks of it sitting around at CSC.

I emailed NVCreaseach again yesterday, and I received this message (it seems they keep track of the messages coming to them)

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised the National Visa Center (NVC) has previously received

an inquiry regarding your petition. As we could not locate your

petition in our records, we are following up with U.S. Citizenship and

Immigration Services (USCIS). Please allow 15 business days for USCIS to

locate your petition.

Sincerely,

Morgan

I can't deal with NVC. I called 3 times and have different answers everytime. Never mind the waiting for them to take your call. Somehow NVC have the wrong DOB of my fiance. First I was told to e-mail a copy of his passport than call the next date. I called, then I was told that i have to call the embassy because the case was already forward there. So, pretty much they did not correct my fiance's DOB .......

I was able to finally get mine forwarded to NVC with the help of my congressman office....try that, as of June 15 it finally left the CSC of USCIC. Best wishes to everyone!!!!!!!!!! USCIS....this is totally ridiculous they held our apps there for 5+ weeks...no reason.
