I-129F sent off on December 12th. NOA1 dated December 23rd. Patiently waiting, slightly over a month now. Enjoying my stay on B2 visa till May 20th - thankfully, this makes the whole waiting process so much more bearable :)

We just mailed in our I-129F on Feb 13th. Check cashed on Feb 16th. Received our I-797C on the 24th. Now it's time to play the waiting game I guess....

Anyone know where to go online to check your filing status?

I thought saw too. But if you look at Igor's list over 50% of November filers have received approval. I think we'll see some more December petitions coming through now. And I'll be happy because January is next. I think a large percentage of December petitions will receive approval in March. There are probably significantly fewer petitions to adjudicate due to the lower number of submissions during the winter months. They just need to keep enough adjudicators on our I-129Fs.

I would love it if a lot of us December filers received approval in March! I'm hoping for April myself :) My timeline right now says end of April/early May, which I'm hoping works out. My guy is currently visiting under the VWP until May 4 so if we received the NOA2 before he has to leave and were able to at least start the whole medical/interview thing, I would be SO happy.

I filed December 16 and got notice the 21st they had received it and gave me a case number, but all I find online is that it's in initial review. I never received a hard copy of the receipt and when I called them they said they won't send another one out. I'm really hoping we hear something soon, because the stress is really getting to me. Ours was sent to the California service center and I followed the guide here to a T.

I think having a case number is the most important thing - I've heard of people not receiving the hard copy. Some people don't receive the email notifications, some people don't see anything online. It's annoying and frustrating, I know - but I don't think there's anything you can do at this point except maybe call again and make sure they don't have a typo in your address.

As for the online status, mine still says in initial review as well and it shows a date of 12/19/2011... probably just sitting in a stack of paper on someone's desk.

Me too on March! I'm starting to check the mail every day hoping, even though I know it's still too early.

Timeline:

Met online - 2005

Started dating - 2008

10 trips, 400+ days together - 2008-2012

NOA1, CVC - 14 December 2011

NOA2, CVC - 17 May 2012 (155 days)

File arrived at the NVC on 6/25/2012 - that's 5.5 weeks or so from the NOA2

NVC said that they sent it onward to Sydney on 7/2/2012
