Congrats to everyone!!!!!!!!!! So Exciting!!!

My NOA1 date from CSC is December 23rd 2011 (got the paper in the mail 12/27/11)

Its getting close to the 5 month mark...seems like Cali is taking the full 5 months.

Quick question....I was researching applying for a marriage license in Wisconsin and it says both parties need a SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER...obviously I have one as Im a citizen but for my fiancee...will she have to wait till she gets here on the K-1 visa to apply for one??? How do you do that?

Another week begins... let's hope it's a good one for us December filers!! :)

Next Monday, May 14 will mark 151 days from receiving my NOA1 - if I don't have my NOA2 by then, you can certainly bet that I will be calling USCIS :P:devil:

Trying to be positive! But mostly just feeling incredibly impatient :P

Timeline:

Met online - 2005

Started dating - 2008

10 trips, 400+ days together - 2008-2012

NOA1, CVC - 14 December 2011

NOA2, CVC - 17 May 2012 (155 days)

File arrived at the NVC on 6/25/2012 - that's 5.5 weeks or so from the NOA2

NVC said that they sent it onward to Sydney on 7/2/2012

yeah another week... i have been waiting for 157 days... my fiance called the uscis telling him to wait for next month... and if no response, he' ll call again.. but i guess after 15 days we need to email csc about our application....

Well, everyone... it has been a good week! I just got my NOA2!!!!!!!! I'm so happy, I'm crying. I forwarded the email to my guy right away and we're both so excited!

What's kind of ironic is that I'm always checking Igor's list and the USCIS website right when I get to work. Today, I happened to be really busy and didn't look for at least an hour lol. Then I saw my phone light up and I had this in my email:

"*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: WAC---------- (removing the number just in case there's any bad people lurking around lol)

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On May 7, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

omg!! i received i call from my fiance that we got approved!!! finally we got our noa2... i checked the uscis website and it says...

on may 7, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have apprived this I 129F petition for fiance....
