Hi. I have a biometrics appointment for Jan 9th. So my husband request the day off on the day but his employer wouldn't give him a day off. Since I can't drive yet I can't go their by myself. Especially it's about an hour away from me. And he's off tomorrow so I want to do it tomorrow.

What do you tell the office people about your appointment? Just show them a letter and tell them you're here earlier than your appointment? or would they even decline me?

Thanks.

Some offices will allow walk in's, and other will not. All you can do is try.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I did a walk in for biometrics today as I wasn't sure whether I could make my appointment date (Jan-24). I just handed them my appointment notice, they didn't say anything about the fact that my appointment was in 3 weeks and I got my biometrics done.

This was my 2nd biometrics appointment and both were scheduled on a Tuesday, so I'm not sure whether that was a coincidence or whether some offices do them only on specific day of the week.

I did a walk in biometrics a week before my scheduled appointment. It was busy and the security guard gave me the look that there's no way I can do a walk in. I just basically made him feel sorry for me cuz my original appt was the day before Christmas eve. I told him that I would be with my family for Christmas...and it worked! lol...Im guessing it really depends on the day, time, and how busy the office is. I would recommend going early, right after they just open. And maybe have a reasonable excuse? lol...Good Luck!
