I am in Los Angeles just seeing if anybody is in the same boat as me. I never received my biometrics, when I called uscis I was told that they will be using my biometrics from last year when conditions were removed from my GC. Its been 6 weeks still waiting to be scheduled for interview?

March 6 ,2012 Received Yellow Letter

April 9,2012 I was placed in line for interview scheduling.

May 26 2012 Still waiting for interview letter

I'm in Los Angeles and never received biometrics same like you but after that I got

e-mail and text said They send the letter for biometrics.

Nov 23 2011 : Received Receipt #

Jan 09 2012 : Placed in line for interview

Apr 24 2012 : Got e-mail & text for biometrics

May 07 2012 : Biometrics done

May 09 2012 : Placed in line for interview(again)

May 14 2012 : Got letter for interview

Jun 18 2012 : Interview

Has anybody gone to Social Security or the DMV to show their certificate and change their status from "alien"? We did that Friday while visiting in our former hometown. Small town offices are way easier than in a huge city like Houston.

Friday was a triple bad day for a driver's license office--1. school just out so all the teens are there, 2. Friday always bad, 3. day before or after a holiday. So it took almost an hour in line. But our late afternoon visit to the SSA was easy-peasy with no wait at all. Now going to send off for a passport soon.

OMGGG, how much longer is this gonna take?

seem like you (and me) will be in for a long wait buddy, in the nyc office.

I applied some 20 days after you and was placed on the oath schedule line some 4 days prior to you.

I have noticed that those who had their interview in May have come to a complete stop at the nyc DO.

let me know how your proceedings will go from now on.

I apply for 3 years based on marriage, last biometrics was on April 14,2011

Angel it kind of sucks most ppl are finishing up the process in 3-4 months and it will take us 8 months, did you call uscis while you were in line for scheduling so long to find out why it was taking soo long.

I agree, most people done in 3-4 months. I don't know why we take so long. I saw many people didn't get the bio again the process very smooth.

I just call 1-800 only one time ask for the letter for interview after that they send this message for me for waiting 60 days

You recently called to inquire regarding the status of your N-400 case. Our records indicate that we will send you a Citizenship Interview Notice within 60 days. If you do not receive a Citizenship Interview Notice within 60 days, you will need to make an appointment to visit your local office. To make an appointment you will need to go to our website and schedule an appointment using INFOPASS. You can access INFOPASS online at http://infopass.uscis.gov.

Until April 26, I got e-mail for bio. I check case online the process step back to initial review.

Khana, may be you can waiting for 60 days after you call them. If they didn't send the letter for bio or for interview, you can access INFOPASS go to talk with someone in the local office.

Angel keep in touch let me know how your interview goes, may be you can get alittle inside from the Officer why it took so long for you to be scheduled for interview. I called the uscis they told me to wait for 2 two more weeks. So I will try calling back in two more weeks, and then make info pass appointment

I called the uscis they told me to wait for 2 two more weeks. So I will try calling back in two more weeks, and then make info pass appointment

I saw "mrsartis" she's On December file, same like you and me, step back to bio.

She send N-400 on 12/27/2011 and bio on 06/01/2012.
