What's up with all the formatting problems? haha I copied the last one, so hopefully it's OK

My husband got his interview date - April 12. At 2 pm. Niiiice and leisurely, no crazy early appointment, which is surprising.

Are we supposed to put our interview letter Notice Date or the date we opened the mailbox and saw it there? I put notice date. The USCIS message changed on March 5, the Notice Date was March 6 and the letter was in the mailbox on March 9. The oath ceremony choices - assuming all goes well at the interview - are April 17 (not likely, I would assume) or May 9.

I plan to send my husband in with the originals of the few documents we submitted (marriage certificate + translation, tax transcripts, etc) PLUS the whole dang giant folder of the "proof of marital union" that I have been keeping since 2007 - with a few select pieces pulled out for easy reference. I want to burn that folder when we are done with this :devil:

April 3 - IV invoice appeared. Paid IV fee ($230).
April 11 - Sent IV package and AOS package TOGETHER. Confirmed delivery April 15.

April 26 - Case Complete (10th working day)

May 14 - Interview date assigned (12th working day)

June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)

Hey, does anyone know if spouses are allowed to go in to the interview? I read interview stories from the past where the spouse was present, almost required it seemed. Recent stories I have read indicated that the spouse wasn't even allowed in the waiting room.... I don't see any information about this in the letter... I don't know if this something that has changed, or if it is office-by-office or what. I will be going with him, and I am assuming that I won't be able to go into the interview with him (but I wish I could!)

Any insight is appreciated.

When I had the same question, somebody put on the list the day when my letter came in mail :wacko:

The USCIS message changed on March 5, the Notice Date was March 6

Same here. Online status says Feb 15, notice date on the interview letter is Feb 16.
