So.. I did my biometrics on Wednesday .. And today I got the notice that I am in line for the testing and interview.. It's only been two days.. Is this normal?!

01-30-2012: N-400 filed through FedEx express mail

01-31-2012: N-400 received @ 8:43 am via FedEx expressmail

02-10-2012: NOA1 received

02-07-2012: FP letter mailed

02-11-2012: FP appointment letter received

Yay for interviews and letters in the mail! My coworkers started quizzing me at lunch yesterday so I should be ready for the beginning of April. Of course, my appointment is at 7:45am. That sounds way too early to be answering questions about the Federalist Papers and the Constitution. :)

When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Youpi, but I didn't receive anything regarding my fingerprints, maybe because I did it last year on January for my green card 10 years?

05/2007 - filed I-130 via DCF in Frankfurt

08/2007 - interview to prove bona fide marriage

09/2007 - hubby PCSed to GA

10/2007 - hubby deployed to Iraq

04/2008 - hubby on RnR in Germany

08/2008 - received CR-1 visa

12/2008 - flew to GA alone to welcome home the hubs

09/2009 - PCSed to CA

03/2010 - we're pregnant!

06/2010 - applied for German "BBG" to retain German citizenship during naturalization

08/2010 - BBG granted

09/2010 - filed ROC

12/2010 - received 10 year GC

12/2010 - our little miracle is born!!!

01/2011 - PCSed to Germany

01/2012 - filed N-400 for overseas naturalization

03-15-2012 - Best of Both Worlds, I'm a dual citizen :-)

Oh no..SERENITY and CALIBOUND both got notifications, and I didn't! 3 of us have pretty much the same timeline. I hope this doesnt have anything to do with doing fingerprints in a different state. They said it was linked via a national/online database so it shouldnt make a difference. WAAAAAHHHH!

Our notice at the USCIS website changed to that message that everyone is getting, but apparently it just means that you are "in line" and who knows how long it will be until an interview is scheduled. Nothing in our mailbox yet.

I wonder if that message changes once you are actually *scheduled*?

We still may be at the same oath ceremony - especially since they only happen every ~ 3 weeks! On another note, I was reading some reviews of the ceremony @ the Paramount Theater. Every review I read said there were ~1100 people from 100+ countries. Fun!

October 5 - I-751 sent APPROVED 111 days from NOA-1 date, no interview.
NATURALIZATION - 2012
APPROVED 79 days.
May 9 - Oath ceremony - in Oakland, CA.

March 19 - Sent e-mail Choice of Agent, without scan of DS-3032. Paid AOS fee ($88).
April 1 - Choice of Agent information accepted (10th "working day" to accept).
April 3 - IV invoice appeared. Paid IV fee ($230).
April 11 - Sent IV package and AOS package TOGETHER. Confirmed delivery April 15.

April 26 - Case Complete (10th working day)

May 14 - Interview date assigned (12th working day)

June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)

Once you are scheduled the message does change. It tells you your interview has been scheduled and that you will receive your letter in the mail soon. Call if you don't get it in 14 days (I think).

Hi Serenity and Calibound.... are you guys eligible already? My eligibility date is March 29th (although we're allowed to mail in applications 90 days before, which is why I mailed it in already) SOOOO... maybe thats why they havent put me in line for scheduling yet??
