I've got a another question... I just got engaged to a USC last week... Will it be too much of a hassle to get married now while I am in the process of naturalization, or should we get married soon? Also he's in the military will that make it faster since he is in the service? Thanks!

05/2007 - filed I-130 via DCF in Frankfurt

08/2007 - interview to prove bona fide marriage

09/2007 - hubby PCSed to GA

10/2007 - hubby deployed to Iraq

04/2008 - hubby on RnR in Germany

08/2008 - received CR-1 visa

12/2008 - flew to GA alone to welcome home the hubs

09/2009 - PCSed to CA

03/2010 - we're pregnant!

06/2010 - applied for German "BBG" to retain German citizenship during naturalization

08/2010 - BBG granted

09/2010 - filed ROC

12/2010 - received 10 year GC

12/2010 - our little miracle is born!!!

Aaaaah~ the infamous YL.... well it's more like a letter that asks for "more evidence" that you need to bring at the interview. Some people get it some don't. Just depends on one's case or sometimes it's generically sent out. Sometimes it tells you to bring the same stuff that you submitted with your case. Anyways, don't worry too much about it. :)

i never got *yellow letter*

11/12/11.....N400 send to Nebraska service center

11/14/11.....N400 delivered to NE

11/21/11.....Check cashed

11/23/11......NOA recived in the mail(priority date nov 14)(notice date nov 21)..(you will be notified of the date and place of your interview when you have been scheduled by the local USCIS office.you should expect to be notified withing 90 days of this notice)

12/13/11......got text and email about biometric letter being send out

12/17/11.......got biometric letter in the mail(appointment date dec 28th)

12/19/11.....did early walk in FP

12/22/11.......got email and text about being placed in line for interview scheduling

01/30/12.......got email from my IO were i was asked to pick my own interview date and send email back with the date i picked

02/06/12......got INETRVIEW email with appointment letter(have to print that out and bring with me on the interview day)

02/28/12.......INTERVIEW with oath on the same day(as long i pass the test afcorse.)

Well some people get it some don't. Just varies from case to case. Huffy and Pandawars never got one but some folks here did. So again, just depends coz everybody's case is different.

guessing that you applied 90 days to 5yr anniversary, there is a good chance your interview will be done. Oath is a hit or miss, so cant estimate that.

get your I130 (and 325A and 1145) ready, along with all the proofs you need to prove bona fides of marriage, so you can send out as soon as possible (hopefully May 7th :D). If oath is not done, you can always upgrade your case after it is submitted.

when did you send it and when was your check cashed?

I sent it on 01/11. I never received anything about the check being cashed though. I received NOA saying that my paperwork has been received and it is in process. That is all.

Should I get a different notification when my check got cashed?

there is no notification on check cashed, ppl just track it from their bank or track the money order. If you get a NOA, your check is cashed. Next notification you are going to get is your biometrics notice or an interview scheduling if you had a biometrics already taken in past few months for some reason (generally adjustment of status).

Check your bank statement. This is the only way to see when your check was cashed.
