hi friends,

who already gone through interview, while interview, before signing DS 230 part 2 , do the CO ask about any update required in DS 230? is it possible to give an updated DS 230 at that time. any information specific to mumbai consulate

One question. Did they ask for W2's at the interview or IRS tax transcripts submitted to NVC were sufficient?

swapdude, i gave my wife a whole set containing W2, IRS transcript and 1040 for years 2010, 2009, 2008. As per my wife, the indian pre-screener asked her for 2010 W2. she told them that she had the W2, IRS transcript and 1040 & they took all three for the year 2010. I will post the full details of the interview on or before monday. She was asked about the ~30+ questions by the American CO.

hi, the CO did not ask if there is any updates to be made to the DS230 before signing it. But, my wife said the Indian pre-screener asked one of the applicant to fill out a new DS230 because the applicant had filled her mother's maiden name incorrectly or something. So i think its better to let the pre-screener know that you have to update the address.

VISA APPROVED!!! Interview was on Feb 1st at Mumbai, Everything went Well.

hi roars, congrats, just a quick question, Did the CO provide any kind of receipt or confirmation letter after the interview was complete saying that the visa was approved? The reason i'm asking is, my wife said they provided a white receipt for another applicant whose visa approved. But for my wife, they just said "Your Visa is approved and you should receive your passport by courier in 2-3days".

VISA APPROVED!!! Interview was on Feb 1st at Mumbai, Everything went Well.

Visa Approved for my wife. Interview was earlier today at Mumbai 7.30am.

when did the proposal come?

did u see him after the wedding?

couple of questions more..very basic...they didnt ask to show even one bit of evidece...

My case is closed on Feb 13, 2012. Based on your experiences, can you tell me approximately how long it takes to schedule the interview at Mumbai. I am not hoping for March as Mumbai consulate published until 16th. Expecting to have in April 2012. Any thoughts on this.

I called NVC today and they completed scheduling March 2012 interviews at Mumbai and I am not in that list. Hoping for early April Interview.
