hi guys...can u let me know what all are u guys planning to take to the interview as proof of relationship? As of now I hav only thought of our wedding album.. Also we don't need to submit any proff of relation like photos etc... to VFS rite?? thank you...

For interview: wedding album, how do you both communicate, etc etc.

for VFS - right, just submit the fee, and bring the photocopy for passport, marriage license, birthcertificate, etc ( Just in case if they ask ). I doubt if they would need it since all doc are already submitted to NVC.

Ok Thank you..will be submitting everything to VFS tommorow..Rigt now fr the interview as proof of relation I only have my wedding album..We speak on the phone everyday 5-6 times. But I don't know how to take the call logs..What is the communication proof u are gonna show?

Do you use phone? If yes, then bring the itemized bill copies. If you are using Skype to call each other, then login your Skype account, check the history and print that out.

For my case, we have been living together for 3 years in India, and 2 weeks back she was returned to USA since we got a house there, and in this mean time, we have been in touch thru Skype/Mob phone.

2) DS 230 I and II

3) Copy of marriage and birth certificate

4) Copy of passport

5) 2 Photographs

Even though we had submitted everything to NVC. The letter we received clearly stated we need to only submit PCC, but the person over there would not listen.

Went to VFS today...They asked for ds230 1&2, passport copy, birth and marriage cert copy..Thats all..Photos and interview letter. I had kept my pcc copy too, but they said consulate does not accept copies of PCC..only original.I had already submitted the original to NVC. I told them that..They said then it's fine.And to just carry it with me to the interview.

VISA APPROVED!!! Interview was on Feb 1st at Mumbai, Everything went Well.

One question. Did they ask for W2's at the interview or IRS tax transcripts submitted to NVC were sufficient?
