We wont receive anything from NVC or Embassy.

Package 3: Whatever it requires the doc, we already sent it with IV Package.

Package 4: Interview letter and instructions ( We already got an email from NVC ). So everything is fine.

I just called department of state and my interview is also scheduled for Feb 3rd 2011 in mumbai. But I did not get any email. ( probably since my packet 3 was not processed by NVC and directly by Chennai consulate).

I am wondering if any one of you have received the interview letter by mail. Or they are going to just sent email letter.

I don't have any proof yet for interview for medical appointment.

Does anyone know if we submit documents & medical reports at the VFS in chennai or it should only be submitted at the Mumbai. Our case is a Chennai transfer. I emailed Mumbai consulate inquiring about this, but yet to get a reply from them. Also what documents do we submit at VFS along with medical report. Do we just submit all the supporting documents to VFS and go to the consulate with the interview letter?

When is your medical appointment? You may submit all these necessary doc at the time of interview.

This pdf for chennai panel physicians is confusing, it states to schedule the medical 4-7 days before the interview & then in the later part it states it takes 4-7 days for the physician to prepare the results of the medical examination.

I called to Chennai Physician, and asked them about when should I book for medical appointment? He told me that it should be no more than 7 days before interview, and he gave me the date for Feb 8th, and told me he will give the report on Feb 9th evening. I said, all right and booked the appointment for Feb 8th.

They dont have in Pune. The nearest place would be Mumbai for you.

I will call and check with VFS with latest update about what doc they may need. But I guess - Just fee, photocopy of passports & interview letter photocopy. ( Just assuming based on whatever I have read so far on VJ ) but will call and check that out.

Can you share the phone number for VFS? Is it better to call them or Mumbai consulate is you have q's about the interview?
