I'm guessing the original Mumbai cases were assigned a lot quicker than the Chennai transfers!

Congrats everyone and I think many of us got Feb interviews. I got mine also and I am so happy.

CC date Dec 13th, Interview date Feb 2. My case is transferred from Chennai to Mumbai.

Nice, congrats!

I am wondering how they choose to assign dates? Lol, I finished Oct 26 but got Feb 21st... all of you who finished after me got a sooner dates...:)

Do you think asking Mumbai for an earlier date might help?

Congrats to you! :) Happy to see that we all got the interview dates.

Asking for an earlier date may not be possible unless if there is life/death emergency.

Where do we do medical? I am here in US or I have to do it in Mumbai?

Hey,

What kind of visa did you apply for?

I am not sure whether the Chennai to Mumbai transfers can get their medical done in Chennai. Chennai is not on the Mumbai Consulate page but now since the situation changed there might be an exception? Does anyone know?

Here is the link I am talking about with the acceptable medical locations for Mumbai:

Looking at the Medical Examination page on Mumbai US Consulate website, I think Chennai transfers can have the medical done in chennai, it has Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai physicians listed for Medical Examinations

I have called to Medical people in Chennai, and they said that they are doing the medical for BMB cases.
