Hi everyone! Happy new year!

My interview is in 2 days and I still feel like I don't have enough to show proof of financial support.

I need any comments / suggestions as to what else we can provide in such short notice.

Here's what we have:

1. ITR for 2008 - 2010 (all well above 125% of poverty level)

- 1040 complete with schedules

2. 2008 - 2009 he doesn't have W2's because he worked in a foreign country (foreign income exempt from tax)

3. 2010 his income was solely derived from capital gains (he sold all the shares of his company that year)

- 2010 bank statements that reflect deposits of payment for the shares he sold

4. 2011 proof of business ownership (sushi restaurant)

- but he currently doesn't pay himself for the business (so as to help it grow)

- he doesn't have direct income from this except for tips when he helps serve tables

- his bank statements for 2011 doesnt show a lot of money since he's channeling his past years' income to the restaurant

Based on what we currently have, I'm sure most of you who've been through the interview stage of K1 would already have some comments on this. Please let me know if you think we're at a good spot for the interview or if we still need more?

We don't have enough time to get actual transcripts from the IRS so I'm at a loss here.

Any help would be appreciated...

Actually maybe you do have time. Go to their website; see if they can fax the transcripts to you and then you email them to your fiance.

Worst off, go with what you have (current pay summaries and employer letter are primary proofs anyway) and worst case the visa issuance is delayed while you obtain these. Since the transcripts are free, I'd get them going regardless.

08/17/2011 - RECEIVED HARD COPY OF NOA1.. IT TOOK 1 MONTH TO RECEIVED DUE TO USCIS SENT IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS..

11/16/2011 - WEBSITE STATUS: PETITION APPROVED! :)

11/23/2011 - SENT DOCUMENTS TO USEM

12/19-20/2011 - MEDICAL EXAM @ ST. LUKE'S - PASSED! :)

01/06/2012 - SCHEDULED OF INTERVIEW. VISA APPROVED! :)

01/20/2012 - VISA ON HAND AND TAKE CFO SEMINAR

01/22/2012 - SCHEDULE OF FLIGHT.. MNL-JPN-USA!! WELCOME TO AMERICA!!! :)

AOS/EAD/AP TIMELINE

03/13/2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

03/25/2012 - Package arrived at Chicago Lockbox

03/21/2012 - Received email and text, Acceptance of all forms for AOS/EAD/AP

03/22/2012 - Checks cashed by USCIS

03/26/2012 - Received all NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP

03/29/2012 - Received biometrics appointment letter..

04/23/2012 - Done with biometrics..

05/07/2012 - EAD / AP APPROVED!

05/10/2012 - EAD Card Production on USCIS Website.. :) Finally!!

05/10/2012 - AOS UPDATE ON WEBSITE: WITH SCHEDULE OF INTERVIEW

05/11/2012 - USPS PICKED UP EAD/AP CARD AT USCIS

05/14/2012 - EAD On Hand!

06/13/2012 - AOS interview.. APPROVED!

06/21/2012 - Green card on hand. TGBG.!

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**

Jun 08, 2011- NOA1 Received I-129F

Jun 13, 2011- USCIS Acceptance confirmation (via Email)

Jun 16, 2011- Received NOA1 Hardcopy

Nov 15, 2011- Put in Service Request (Over 5months)

Nov 23, 2011- Response via email to SR (case "Pending")

Nov 28, 2011- Wrote letter to My district's Representative thru webpage (Gregory Meeks)

Dec 02, 2011- Went to the Local Reps office to have them look into the case further

Dec 07, 2011- Wrote email to the vermont service center ( the got back to me Dec 20, of course to tell me I was approved due to the congressman's inquiry)

Dec 08, 2011- Congressman/Local Rep's inquiry made

Dec 09, 2011- USCIS Text/Email with approval (NOA2) 6 months and 2 days

Dec 14, 2011- Receive NOA2 Hardcopy
