Reply to an RFE

Happy new year to all fellow VJers!!!

Hello everyone...im back again and iv got one more question to ask...as i said before, my fiance received an RFE...tomorrow he will be sending those documents to USCIS...my question is, how will we know that those docs he sent were received by USCIS? are they going to notify him that they already have it or we will just have to wait till we get the decision from them?

Send the package with the request for signature. Then when they process the package they will give an update stating they have been received. This is what it will say when you check your case status online.

what is that request for signature?

is it some kind of a form that he needs to include in the packet he is going to send to USCIS? if he won't include that, would we still be able to know that they have received the docs just basing on the update of our case on thier website? please help us..thanks fellow vjers...

I think request for signature is about postal service?

They have:

Certified Mail™ service

Find out when your item was delivered or delivery was attempted. Requires the signature of the recipient.

Return Receipt

Get proof an item was delivered with a postcard or email showing the recipient’s signature.

Hi There! We got an RFE on December 20th and just returned the information by Priority mail on January 3rd. Last night my fiance got an email notification that the RFE information had been received and was now moved to review. If you signed up for text or email notification, you may or may not receive one. I would check the status on the USCIS website.

What I am saying is that you should send the information through USPS using a method that requires a signature on the other end, as another poster suggested.

Thanks for the answers...i just checked our case at USCIS website and it says they have received our documents and is now being reveiwed....i'm now hoping for an approval......wish me luck...and good luck to all those who are still waiting like me
