HI,

I had my i 485 interview in Dallas on dec 6th and it went smooth.

IO said that everything looks fine so after review and checks they are going to mail us the decision or if they need anything else.

Until Dec 29 i didnt got any update on my case but the same day i got an email that my I 130 has been approved.

There is no update on I 485 yet and no changes on the website too.

I dont know what does it mean?

I hope everything is fine and something good is coming soon.....

Plz comment here if u have any idea about it.

Thanks

Hi guys,

My interview was done in New York on Aug 24, 2011 and the IO gave me a letter stating I will get the decission in mail.

After couple days my I-130 got approved, till now My I-485 is pending.

On Nov 10, 2011 I took info pass and went to the Federal Plaza with my attorney, the IO checked and inquire in the branch where my file is located and told me my case is still pending Security clearance. He didn't know how long it gonna take.

I called FBI and checked my clearance and they said it is cleared on same day, then I called USCIS the agent told my case is security clearance and my case is still under time line. The time line is 9 months from the date of case filled.

If I don't receive any news in 9 months then I can open a service request.

My attorney told me that this is common for the people who's name belongs to muslim. However my name is Mohamamd. I think I have to wait couple more months.

Hope for good.
