I'm actually surprised how many "no"'s there are! haha! I waited two years for mine, and its not working out now after only 3 months, but I would so do it again if that was who I wanted to be with. I consider those lucky if this is the worst thing you've ever been through. The process sucks, but its not the worst thing I can think of to experience! ;)

Well, I don't see my marriage ever ending - things are too good, and we figured out how to work out anything that comes up. We've been through things that would've ended a less solid relationship. Immigration wasn't the hardest thing we've dealt with.

I didn't plan to get involved with someone from another country back when we met. I actually wasn't planning to get into any sort of romantic relationship with anyone. If something really odd happened, and I found myself single again.... well, I guess in that unlikely scenario, I'd see what would happen. The process sucked, but it was really worth it. If someone asked me about it, I'd say it was worth doing it for the right person, but to be prepared for a challenge.

If some weird law passed or something, and he had to go back and we had to start all over, I wouldn't hesitate to go through it again to get him back here.

I agree! We aren't married yet, but if I had it to do all over again WITH my Leye I would. Through the ups and downs and time involved I've gotten to know him and myself that much better. This entire process is a test of love and faith; we haven't got to the end yet, but I know with Jesus @ the wheel we'll pass :)

yup. type doesn't always just mean looks...can mean a person enjoys and appreciates their cultural background, family traditions, etc...I don't have a type, but I've dated men from many different cultural backgrounds and must say I really enjoyed learning about all the differences! keeps things interesting I think.

If God forbid your marriage did not work out and you ended up in divorce, would you consider doing this process for a second time?

I did it once before.

But, not at the tune of divorce.

I Asked the lady to go back to Colombia, within the 90 days, without ever getting married.

If this one fell through the seems,.... heck, yeah! I'd go for a third time.

Probably, it's just due to my particular persuasion towards girls from this part of the world.

I don't forsee ever having to do it again. My fiance is wonderful and we love each other very much. I would do it all over again but maybe somewhere with a shorter flight time. HAHA

If something were to happen to my husband, I don't see myself getting married again, much less going the immigration route. I wasn't looking for a relationship wehn I met my husband, neither was he. We became friends, playing an online game together, and it grew from there.
