Hey guys, anyone else with good news? I forgot how I really don't know how to wait :( I want to work and help with my income but I can't, not even get a drivers license. Its hard to see life passing by and you're stuck in the same place but I have hope & faith that sooner or later something will come anyway. :yes:

Congrats to the ones with, at least, one document in hand! And good luck to the rest of us waiting!

Finally, done with Biometrics today. It took me long time to wait though. It was long line-up... Does this means, EAD & AP are next? for how many days?

My husband will go for biometrics tomorrow.

Cannot wait till he gets his EAD and can apply for driver's license. :)

Hubby made appt for his driver's test for next Monday. He's nervous but I don't know why! bless him. I can't wait until he can drive. I know that's going to feel good to have some freedom.

Biometric's appointment didn't go well. The didn't take my husband, because he doesn't have a passport. He brought Georgia State ID, but it was not sufficient for them. The supervisor asked if he applied for a new passport. He did apply for a new passport in January, but it will be taking months to get a new one from Russian embassy. The supervisor advised him to ask Russian embassy if to issue him any type of a document with picture. They wrote something down on the appointment letter and told him to come back when he has it. The appologized to him, but could not accept a state ID!!!!! Why did they put it on the letter as an accepted form of ID?

Hey guys and gals. New member here! We sent in my wifes I-485 and I-131 On Jan 3rd, and we received emails that they were received on Janury 10th. She had her biometric apppointment on Feb 1. On February 3rd we received a letter saying that the AOS had been transferred to CSC.

Two questions:

1. When I check on the USCIS website, it says that the AOS was sent to a USCIS office. Does that mean the CSC, or my local office.

2. How long between biometrics and issued of the travel docs? It's now been 36 days and we havent heard a peep.
