Hello!

Are there any people who are filing for AOS this month? I just started going through the forms with Ice.

Here we go again! ;)

4 days for the NVC
74 days to the interview
Interview date: 12/14/11 APPROVED!
POE: 12/16/11
Total days from NOA1 to K-1 Visa in hand: 202
Wedding Date: 12/27/11

AOS
Sent AOS: 4/21/12
NOA1: 4/30/12
RFE: 5/14/12
Biometrics App.: 5/21/12
Sent RFE Response: 5/31/12
Interview: 7/24/12
Approval: 10/12/12

Currently.... they have issued Ice the incorrect GC and we have tried 4 times to fix it. First time they had us send it to the incorrect address. Second time they said we used an expired form, which was the form they gave us. Third time was "oh sorry we lost the last page, can you send it again?." Fourth time is the gov is shut down. Will this ever be corrected in time for Ice to get the permanent GC? Stay tuned to find out. T_T

This is actually pretty confusing. Do we send in "evidence" along with the petition this time?

I actually mailed my forms on December 31st, but it makes more sense to post here, I think. I got the email confirmations pretty quickly, but I'm already impatient waiting for the next step.

12/22/11 Married!

12/31/11 Mailed I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131 to Chicago Lockbox

01/03/12 UPS delivery confirmation

01/05/12 USCIS email acceptance notification

01/06/12 Cheques cashed

01/07/12 Touched

01/09/12 NOA paper copies received

01/09/12 Touched

01/12/12 Biometrics appointment letter received

02/06/12 Biometrics appointment

02/15/12 Email notification of interview appointment 03/15/12

02/16/12 Notification letter for interview appointment 03/15/12 at 10:29am

03/05/12 Email notification of AP/EAD approval, EAD card production

03/09/12 EAD mailed

03/13/12 EAD arrived (NOT an AP/EAD combo card, haven't received any paper AP documentation)

Did you file the g-1145? We were a couple of days behind you and got notification with our case numbers late Monday night.

I filed my AOS, AP and EAD on Monday 9th Jan and confirmation of delivery the following day. Fingers crossed of a smooth process for all of us
