I would suggest emailing the DS-3032. There's nothing to download though. You just send an email. Follow the link in the first post in this thread for the DS-3032 email template.

Thanks Saylin! Youre an angel! I was thinking of downloading DS3032 but it has a barcode on it. That's why I got confused. I will just email it now accdg to link in the post that you said. :)

Thanks a bunch!

Question about the tax transcripts....

I wasn't able to use the online system for some reason so I called an international IRS helpline and they assisted me with ordering the tax transcripts. They arrived about a week ago (took just over a month to Japan) but I am not sure if I have a problem or not.

They are slightly different than the tax transcripts that my mom sent me (she is a backup joint sponsor if my assets don't qualify me). The right column with, with all the figures and numbers was cut off by the printer on all 6 pages of all 3 transcripts. What this did was cut off the cents portion of numbers, so instead of seeing aaa.bb you just see aaa. with no "bb" The last two figures of a date are cut off on the section referencing the foreign income exclusion as well.

The tax transcripts from my mom have everything centered in the page with plenty of space and nothing cut off.

Will these be accepted? Is this normal? I'm thinking I should send my full tax returns in as well, which isn't a problem because I've got everything here ready to go. I even spent the last hour translating my Japanese statement of earnings since I don't have a W2 so I can include that if I send my returns.

Should I send 3 years of transcripts and 3 full tax returns?

Yeah, in your case, I'd send both the transcripts as well as the 1040s and W2s. I wonder why everything wasn't centered properly for you. When my husband ordered his, they came perfectly.

Any chance you have access to a fax? The IRS can fax them to you asap. You might get a better quality.

I don't have a fax unfortunately.

I'll just send it all. I would imagine a Japanese statement of earnings (basically a W2 in Japan) and an English translation would suffice since I have no W2, right?

Grats on the progress today!

Just to make sure, did you get your DS-3032 approval email?

It'll probably be available to be paid within the next few days. Just keep checking as often as you can.

Got the DS3032 approval email and the IV Invoice became active....Moving to the next step

Wow, great to see everyone's moving forward!

My DS3032 was accepted, I just got the email this morning :)

However on the payment portal the IV fee is still not active.

Now, unfortunately, we're gonna have to slow down until I receive my Turkish PCC :( :(

How long do you have to send your answer if NVC generates a checklist on the IV package?

I'm wondering if I should put the whole IV package on hold until I receive the PCC, or send it without the Turkish PCC and then answer the rfe that is bound to come when I get it.

In the first case they would have to review the entire package before giving me a CC, in the second case they would be expecting the PCC and they the CC would come faster, no?

But if the deadline to respond to the checklist is too short, I'd be screwed.

Saylin what would you do?

I paid the AOS fee, but it hasn't cleared yet and likely won't for another day or two. But I already can download the barcode cover sheet.

I thought it wasn't available until my payment was completed.

I'm not quite ready to send in my packet yet...waiting on a letter regarding how much money I have in my Japanese bank account.

Wow, great to see everyone's moving forward!

My DS3032 was accepted, I just got the email this morning :)

I'm not sure how long you have to respond to RFEs, but I do know that NVC closes the case if they don't hear from you within one year. I've seen people take quite a long time (few months) to respond to RFEs before, so don't worry about that.

You could always try sending the IV package without the PCC and mention in the cover letter that it's on its way and if you [the officer] can complete the case without the PCC, you'd bring it to the interview with you. Worth a shot. Worst that can happen is you get a RFE which you'll respond to as soon as you get the PCC.

I got my case number just few minutes ago via AVR.

Grats!

I paid the AOS fee, but it hasn't cleared yet and likely won't for another day or two. But I already can download the barcode cover sheet.

Hmm, I've seen that before where the cover sheet is available before it appears as PAID. I would definitely wait until it appears as PAID. I wouldn't want you to send it now, and then there's some problem with the payment which would mess things up.
