Why isnt the payment portal letting me sign in? I did it yesterday and all day today an error message pops up saying sign in failed -__-

You just got your case number recently, so NVC is either still inputting your data, or they're invoicing your AOS bill! Keep checking the site and you should be able to log in soon and perhaps find a bill waiting for you :)

Saylin, I am still waiting on my wife's documents to come in from Egypt. In the mean time I have everything ready for myself here in terms of the AOS. Is it better to send in the packages separately? I have paid both fees online and they both now show up as "Paid". Will it be quicker if I just send in my package first, then send in here when it gets here?

This question is asked a lot on the forums. Here's my take on it:

-it'd be cheaper if you sent both at the same time since everything would be in one big package, with just one stamp, and just one delivery confirmation to pay for

On the other hand:

-if you send them separately, then NVC will get to your AOS faster (rather than waiting to send them together), so they'll review your AOS faster, and in case there's an RFE, you'll have that extra time to respond to it

Honestly, if it were me and I had to decide on sending packages, I'd send packages as they were ready. And for you, you have the AOS package ready.

But this is just my opinion yes.gif

Yup, that's perfectly fine. As long as you correspond with NVC within a year, then NVC doesn't care when you send packages. Many people have to wait a few weeks before sending packages because the beneficiary has to mail things.

Saylin, When my wife came last october to visit me in my country ( haiti), i have filled the Ds 230 part 1 and signed and left part 2 unsigned. Afterwards, i gave it to her and this paper is currently in the US in her hands. So when NVC will ask for this document from the Beneficiary can my wife mail it to them or will she have to send it back to me in Haiti and i will send it directly to NVC so that they can see that it was sent by the beneficiary?

NVC doesn't care if the package comes from the US or from the beneficiary's country. As long as it's received by them :)
