How can i know the exact day they received the package at NVC, i would like to update my signature?

1/31/2012-------Case received at NVC

2/08/2012------- Case number received, IIN, both petitionner and benificiary email given

2/08/2012------- DS 3032 ( choice of agent ) emailed to NVC

2/10/2012------- AOS fee bill paid ( status: in progress)

2/13/2012--------DS 3032 accepted

2/14/2012-------- AOS fee bill shows " PAID" and IV fee bill invoiced

2/16/2012-------- IV fee bill shows " PAID"

You can check the AVR and see if it has been updated (probably not, but you have nothing to loose). As for the taxes, they will not expect to see 2011 returns until after April 15th.

NVC will not contact you when they receive anything.

Talk to an operator and ask for the date.

Although, looking at others' experiences, this date can vary by operator. So if you really want to know, you'd have to call a few times and ask.

Wow just talked to an NVC operator & confirmed my CC :dance: ... They received my package 01/30 and case completed on 01/31 pretty fast... I just need to wait for an available interview on USembassy Manila... whew!!! Thank you LORD...

Grats again! Hopefully you get your interview date scheduled soon! :) Just keep calling every day to find out. You should also start calling DOS now every day as that's another source that will know of your interview date once scheduled.

Probably not unless you have special circumstances or there has been some neglect of your case. At least wait until you finish at NVC to see what they'll give you!

In other news, our case left NVC yesterday, and if I tracked it properly on dhl.com, it's already in Montreal. :)

Does your calling to get an interview help you obtain a fast one?

Nope, not at all. I suggest it so you can find out as fast as possible, since the email is usually delayed by a day or two. But if you don't mind waiting for the interview letter email, then by all means, don't call at all.

And good luck on the expedite request. As soon as you get a case number, then you can request to be expedited.

Thank you Gad. Guys, as i see things going on, my wife will not be able to attend the interview because of the pregnancy. She will be 5 months in march and i am not expecting to get an interview in march.

1- Will we need to have her doctor sent a letter to the embassy explaining that she will not be able to attend the interview?

2- Are there chances that the Embassy ask us for DNA test?

3- or could the embassy reschedule the interview after she give birth to the baby, so that she can attend the interview?
