According to nvc avr my case was completed on January 31st... I don't if it's CC or what they just received my package on the 30th according to the courier service... Cant talk to the operator yet because its still early... I dont have any email yet from them... please enlighten me... thanks

You can check the AVR and see if it has been updated (probably not, but you have nothing to loose). As for the taxes, they will not expect to see 2011 returns until after April 15th.

NVC will not contact you when they receive anything.

Grats! If the AVR is saying you have a case complete, then you have a case complete! kicking.gif Call up asap and you can confirm with an operator!

Remember, only EP folk get case complete emails. There have been some non-EP folk that get it, but don't count on it.

Exactly. NVC operators won't be able to input anything in their computers until a case number has been assigned.

-filled out, signed, and dated I-864

-tax information (either tax transcripts* OR 1040s, W2s, and any other schedules)

-proof of US citizenship or residency

-optional: pay stubs and/or employment letter (recommended to prove current income)

*Tax transcripts are preferred by NVC
