Just received the AOS Invoice and DS-3032 by email.

After I completed the payment, the cover sheet shows up immediately, is this what it looks like? Is this the cover sheet that is to be included in the AOS package?

I thought the cover sheet won't show up until the payment is processed. I am confused, again.

Yup, that's the cover sheet. Over the last few months, I've heard that the cover sheet is available immediately after the fee is paid. But I'd suggest you take togetherforever's advice and WAIT until the fee appears as paid on the payment portal in case there's any problems. You can print it out though, attach it to your AOS package, and put it in the envelope, so it's all ready to go when your fee is processed.

Thanks for the reminder Saylin. I got all of this done in July 2011 (back when I received the NOA1).

Well I'm sure you'll all be relieved to know that I'm not a criminal in Canada at least. Police check arrived in mail today, 2 weeks after I requested it. Still no tax transcripts, going to get hubby to call tomorrow to see if they will tell him when they were sent. When I tried ordering them again at the weekend over the internet I got a message to say that they had been requested within the last two weeks.

Good morning my NVC filers, i am happy for all of you that have had their interview date in march. What is the best way while calling NVC to know that they received your package, is it by listening to the AVR ( is it updated on time ) or by talking to an operator?

Talking to an operator! The AVR is several days late, and I'm not even sure it updates before they assign the case number.

The operators usually offer really poor service but if you're just looking for basic information, they can help.

We called an operator yesterday and he said our package should be received mid February. Was it a way to tell us do not call everyday or you think the package will really take that long to get there?

It was a way to tell you not to call everyday, but if I were you I would still do it at least every other day

They really have no way of knowing how long it will take. They can tell you the maximum amount of time it may take, but your case might be received or handled a lot faster.

Hum i see. I do not really know why these calls are being monitored while these operators tone of voice show you that they are not willing to talk to you. I am working as analyst for a cellphone company in the Quality Assurance department, i know how to treat customers ( callers ) and we take disciplinary actions on operators that are mean, discounting customers. We have a system recording all the calls that we are receiving and have a group of people to score these calls.

I don't know, they were always really nice to me. But my family says I have a particularly girly "phone voice" so maybe they were just charmed by my exaggerated cheerfulness.

lol hum i see, if they nice with you, i bet you found a man as operator. You know how they are, when they hear a nice talking woman they tend to be nicer or keeping you on the line for a bit longer...lol

You know I've been a tier 2 call center agent and customer interaction specialist... so I understand what you mean!

I guess NVC doesn't give a dam about customer experience... The overall call quality also tends to go down when the volume of calls go up, and I think their call center is pretty much overwhelmed. I generally waited 10 min at least, which is really a lot compared to common waiting time targets!

The bad news is DOS ain't much better: when I called yesterday, the first time, noone answered

Hum my wife has 95% chance to be hospitalized today, she has a doctor appointment at 10Ham. I will be the one to be taking care of the papers because we are currently gathering documents for NVC.
