hello again friends... I'm just curious if ever nvc sends us an rfe like for ex. they wanted another copy of I-864, can we just scan & email it to them or we still need to re send it thru mail? thanks for the responses =)

Nope, if you're not from an EP-eligible country, then you are NOT allowed to email documents. You HAVE to snail mail it. Sorry!

Yeah, it's REALLY long when you can't sleep for a single minute... It was a London-San Diego. I was crying in the end!

And then we got off and it was already dark, and I had to get a rental car and drive 40 min in suburbia, in a country I had never driven before, on freeways with like 8 lanes, with an automatic car - a kind I had never touched before. Trip from hell. Only time I actually raised my voice at my husband, for not renewing his driver's license in time...

ROFL - try 14 hours from Melbourne, Australia to LAX, 4 hour layover, 4 hour flight LAX to Atlanta, get bags, 4 hour drive to ranch. Now that is a way to spend 26+ hours!

I can't wait to live in the US, it'll be nice to have everything so close. Passed the medical so now only hurdle is the interview on the 7th. Can't wait to be done!

Hmm, if you don't have a full license, they might just give a temporary permit or something. I had a full license and had no problems. And I'm sure it varies by state as well. I'd suggest looking up the site for your future state's DMV, find their number, and give them a call up. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you.

Ok Saylin lemme do that.

Thanks everyone for the congrats! :D

TimmyH, a 14-hour flight, no freaking way! They do expect you to be in a state of emotional distress at POE, don't they? Cause after over 10 hours in a plane, they'd better not mess up with me!

By the way, before the 11 hour flight, I have a 3 hour one from home to London first, plus layover of course...

Thinking that on POE day, I'll have our cat with me gives me a big headache!!

Rujby we're waiting for you here! C'mon CSC!

Nice, it looks like they're getting faster now that the holiday season's over!

Yes you should call back and provide email addresses, and get the IIN as well.

Us January filers have usually received the AOS fee within a few days after case# was assigned.

hehehe same here!! We'll be travelling with three cats :luv::luv::luv: , so you can imagine how "serene" I'm going to be at the POE (not to mention the whole preparation animal travel requires) Fortunately, my husband is more calm about everything, and he's the beneficiary!

Congratulations on your case being complete, that's a big relief, best of luck on the upcoming step!!
