CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing::dance:

Waiting for interview date!!! (and bloody Turkish PCC............)

Man, I've never been so nice with an NVC operator before, NVC is FAST (well, after they manage to assign a case number at least).

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

I'm glad it worked out for you and you didn't end up needing the PCC from Turkey at the NVC stage!

Merciiiiii ! I'm so excited!

The Turkish PCC brings me back to reality though... It is almost over IF I finally have it in hand.

So I was wondering, in the email they send for the interview date, do they mention which documents you have to bring to the interview?

Yes, in the attachment, they list what documents, although it's just a basic list. They're aren't specific. It's the same list they use for everyone, just use different notes beside each one, depending on the case. But you should (I hope) have the PCC by the time your interview rolls around. If not, you could probably just go to the interview, and then be put on AP until they receive your PCC.

Yes they are, I just called NVC and they are reviewing my RFE!! They just got it yesterday!! Hopefully I'll get a quick CC.

Woot, good news! You might get a CC this week as well!

I don't want no AP

I'm seeing way too many horror stories about AP...

I think I'd rather reschedule in case the pcc isn't there in time.

But hopefully, it will come early enough! Fingers crossed everyone! :help:

Thanks for suggesting how to handle it at NVC stage. We've saved so much time and worry doing that!

You're welcome.

What's a G2?

In Ontario after you pass a vision test and a test of your knowledge of the rules of the road and traffic signs, you get a Class G1 Driver's License and then you give a road test and get a G2 License. New drivers earn full driving privileges in two stages, first one is G2 and a year after getting G2 you can apply for the Full G License ( you should complete the program from G1 to full G with in the time frame of five years to complete the program and graduate to a full license.

Thanks for suggesting how to handle it at NVC stage. We've saved so much time and worry doing that!

The horror stories you've probably been seeing is from African and Middle East countries where AP can take months because they have to do background checks and such. But I wouldn't suspect France to take long, especially if it's just because you didn't bring a document, not because there's red flags or for background checks.

But anyways, yes, stay positive and know that the PCC will arrive before the interview, and you'll have nothing to worry about!

And I'm really glad I suggested it! It probably saved you a few weeks, it's looking like.

In Ontario after you pass a vision test and a test of your knowledge of the rules of the road and traffic signs, you get a Class G1 Driver's License and then you give a road test and get a G2 License. Hmm, if you don't have a full license, they might just give a temporary permit or something. I had a full license and had no problems. And I'm sure it varies by state as well. I'd suggest looking up the site for your future state's DMV, find their number, and give them a call up. I'm sure they'll be able to tell you.

Ah, that old "20 business days" refrain...

AOS is reviewed and accepted, DS260 and docs need 20 business days for review.

Talk to you tomorrow, NVC representative!

Yep!

I got the same in reverse...finished with the IV and call back in a week or two after we review your AOS.

Tomorrow it is!

I've definitely been enjoying the camaraderie here. :) I think it's a happier forum because we're all moving through the steps and seeing progress. It's so much harder to be waiting for the NOA2.

I prefer waiting in NVC step than USCIS one. With NVC there is hope, nearer to the embassy stage. I have also noticed that operator are more reachable and more specific when you call to request an information. I definitely want to be at NVC step.
