ask either of her parents, soonish. Good Luck to you !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Stop texting yer wife about this, please?

On Sunday evening, circa 11 PM, call into the National Police Office, inquire about how to get a PCC for USA Immigration.

Good Luck !

Is this a USA office? I'm not sure why I need to call. If the PCC she has already gotten and sent to NVC is good for the entire country everything should be ok right?

No! Your 'pcc in yer hand' status is unclear, always. yup!

Unless she's lived in ANOTHER country for more than 6 months, anytime from age 16 to yesterday.

Another question guys.. I requested my tax transcripts from the IRS but still didn't get them yet. Since I've been using turbo tax online to file my taxes can I send the tax return pages they give me after filling to NVC? I just want to keep moving

When and how did you order the transcripts? They shouldn't take very long to come.

hello... just need some discernment... is the current annual income can be computed as total monthly salary x 12= current annual income?

Well it depends. Do you have other income apart from your salary?

I have no clue what you mean by this statement.

yer the petitioner, right?

are you planning to send of the DS-230 packet on yer wife's behalf?

if so, then for a brief moment in time, you'll have her complete ds-230 packet in yer hands.

a part of the ds-230 packet is the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).

The office I was referring to, is the office that actually issues the Police Clearance Certificate. When in doubt, call that office, inquire.

Hope is clearer, nowish ?

Grr...AVR says something is missing or incomplete, and they sent me a letter about it yesterday. I'll call them on Monday to see what's up, but I guess it has to be something in the AOS package. Grumble. I was so meticulous about it all! :ranting:

I am the petitioner but no I'll never have that in my hands. She has sent everything. Ive already corrected the DS-230 today and will have her send a revised version tomorrow to try to avoid an RFE delay in case we get it. The guy I've been talking to at rapidvisa did not think we'd get one anyway but I know someone else has for the same issue so instead of waiting I'm having her send another one 'just in case'. The PCC is good for the entire country I have also been told.

Hello,

I just got my NOA2 so I'm preparing everything for the NVC and have a few questions.

1. Is there another way to get my NVC case number besides calling in? I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in a small village in Paraguay. I can't trek into the city to use the payphone everyday so I was just wondering if there is an alternative.

2. For the AOS, my pay stubs are in Paraguayan currency (but my W-2 is in American dollars). Do I need to convert the amount on the pay stubs into dollars?

3. Just confirming what I read on the DoS website, if the documents I am submitting along with the DS-230 are in Spanish, I don't need to translate them because the official language of Paraguay (the country where my husband will have his interview) is Spanish. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance for your help!
