Received the bank letter, translated it, and got my AOS packet ready to go.

I will make some copies and then stop at the post office before work tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to getting this thing in the mail. It's about 150 pages total! Crazy!

Grats on finally getting the letter you needed!

150 pages?! How do you have so many pages?

I can't read your first sentence to the end, it makes me feel dizzy just to think about it.

I don't think they can run tests and not tell. At least for the medical in Paris, the blood test is made by a private lab that does regular medical tests, and I'm pretty sure they'd be shut down by the health agency if they were conducting tests without the patient's knowledge!

You're like me then. I get queasy around needles. For my medical, I was only expecting to get the blood test done (which I wasn't looking forward to) but then I found out I needed to get a flu shot too. Which made me even more sick. When they were done with me, I stood up but had to sit back down again cause I was woozy. Not fun...

And remember, it's the government we're dealing with. They tend not to tell 100% of the truth.

I would suggest just sending your last December (2011) pay stub and your January (2012) pay stub. Your December one should show YTD (year to date) which will show the entire amount you earned that year at that company. And then January will show how much you made this month. And depending when you get to NVC, you might even be able to send in February's pay stub as well.

Ok i understand. Do not worry, with God help i will be in NVC on February. I was talking to a friend of my father who is working at the US embassy in Haiti ( my country) and he told me the interview are scheduled by NVC and not by the Embassy. I was so surprised when he told me that. I have 2 Haitian VJ here that got their interview after 4 months. SO now, do i have to pressure NVC as i am going to send them an expedite request just like i did for USCIS?

Yes, if you want to expedite, then you're going to need to send another request but to NVC this time. They may or may not approve it. But as your case is dealing with Haiti, they most likely will.

The expedite we made was for my wife complication during the pregnancy. She is still in Fragile situation, she is dehydrated was informed to say home for one week, she is having other problems. I would like NVC to understand the situation, that is why the hospital will forward them my wife medical information. Now, it is sure that she will not be able to attend the interview with me. She is currently 3 month and in march, she will be 5. I do not think that the doctor will allow her to take a plan and attend the interview with me as for haiti, they must of the time requires both people to be at the interview. what u think Saylin?>

My wife is the petitionner, i am the one taking care of the process as she doesn t know anything about immigration. We were about to get an attorney for the process when i came accross this website. So i read a lot from the forum and i keep her posted of everything. We are doing good so far and i am really grateful to VJ, specially the members.

Well, petitioners aren't required at the interview, just the beneficiary, but of course consulates/embassies can require it. I see two possibilities happening: either they go on with your interview without requiring your wife to be there, or they'll make you wait until after your wife gives birth and then have the interview when she's able to travel. Hopefully it's the former as that would be a long wait. I would stress in your expedite letter that she needs help with the pregnancy asap. And if Haiti requires the petitioner, you might have to talk to them as well and ask if you can have the interview without her as she's going through a tough pregnancy and needs you there as quickly as possible.

Ok thank you Saylin. It is not that it is required, some cases went smoothly without the petitionner presence, some others during the beneficiary interview, the CO, probably when have a suspicious, ask the beneficiary to have the petitionner come. This decision is usually made after the interview. Propably the CO not convinced the way the beneficiary was during the interview and left the CO doubtful. For my case, i will just ask the hospital to fax or send a document to the Embassy with my wife medical information.

NOw can a congressman be involved in this situation, just to have NVC and embassy complete the case urgently?

Ah, if it's not a requirement then you should be fine (unless the CO deems your case suspicious).

I'm not sure if a congressman can help, but you can always try. Worth a shot!

OK i will keep you guys posted so that i can have your important advices. Now, i am currently waiting for USPS to deliver our RFE response to USCIS. My wife made the package first class mail instead of express mail because the lady at the postal service told her it was the same thing. This morning we called USPS to get info from our package as we have been told that it will be delivered January 17th, they told us to wait 2 or 3 more days. So i am just waiting....

I just talked to an NVC operator who litterally hung up on me while I was saying "Have a good day, goodbye" :hehe: I can't believe they can be so rude...

So this guy told me that they can't confirm that packages were received, cause it only shows up in the system when the review is over? Is that true?

Not when the review is over, once it's started. They don't know if it's sitting in the mail room, but as soon as it gets to an officer's desk and begins to be reviewed, then the operator can see it on their computers.
