Since the AOS package was received by NVC yesterday, when do you think I can start calling to know if it was reviewed? Friday?

I'd start calling today! Just tell them you mailed the packages on so-and-so date and was wondering if they had been received/reviewed yet.

I think I'll wait for tomorrow... Migraine coming back, and it's the evening here.

My IV package was delivered this morning (NH time) :)

Hoping for a quick review of both packages by a nice reviewer who'll accept my request about the Turkish PCC (I'm crossing my cat's paws for that!)

I called today to see if they could open my resent files, and they told me it would take 20 days, even though it took them 1 day the first time. I think that's just the standard amount of time they tell you wait for anything so you won't bother them.

Yeah they talked about "business days" a lot when I was waiting for my case number

Hopefully they're gonna be a little faster for the review part...

Still no bank letter!!! They said it would take 1 week and that was yesterday...my wife will call today to check on it. I really really hope it comes today.

I've got the entire AOS package ready to go except for that paper and its translation. Since I'm relying on assets for my I-864 because my job won't continue in America, it is one of the most important parts of my application. About 20% of my savings is in that account and it's what puts us from being just over the requirements to pretty far over it.

Maybe it will get delivered while I'm home on my lunch break...

Medical completed yesterday in Perth. $515 all up with no vaccinations. Seems a bit steep, but I guess that's because there are only 3 people in Western Australia who can do it...Results on the weekend, so fingers crossed! Then only the interview to go!

Hoping for quick CC's for everyone currently at NVC!!

Wow, that is pretty expensive! Mine was only $230 (would have been $215, but I needed the flu shot unbeknownst to me), with 4 panel physicians in Canada.

I got NOA2 notification on Jan 6 and still no hard copy in the mail yet. I called NVC automatic system and they still have no record of my petition. I emailed to them to ask if they receive my petition but no response either. What can I do to know if they receive my petition? Thanks.

Don't worry, it's still early :)

Call and talk to an operator, they'll be able to tell you when your case is received, but only a few days later (see my timeline).

Guys, what are they exactly looking for in the blood test at the medical? I hate to have blood drawn, really, and I'd rather know what they intend to do with it...

Thanks. I see that they received your petition 12 days after you get approved but you just get that info a week after. So before that, they still told you they dont have record of your file?

Yes they did! And the AVR seems to be updated a couple days late, so it's better to actually talk to someone.

My husband filed two separate petitions for me as IR-1 and for our child as IR-2. Does the petitioner need to pay the AOS (affidavit of support) twice? And does my husband need also to submit separate documents for my son's I-864, etc?

If your husband is a US Citizen he only needs to pay the AOS fee one time
