I was literally JUST about to post that I am getting impatient for my case number, but I called the operator one more time just to check, and our case was just entered today!!

I got the case number and Invoice Identification Number, but she said there was no beneficiary ID listed yet. Is that normal?

You can check the AVR and see if it has been updated (probably not, but you have nothing to loose). As for the taxes, they will not expect to see 2011 returns until after April 15th.

NVC will not contact you when they receive anything.

You can call, and you can start next week to make sure your paperwork is received. But you might have to wait for several weeks before they can give you your case number. Since you have an attorney,

The beneficiary ID should have been assigned at the same time as the case number and IIN. Perhaps the operator you got didn't know what that was. I'd suggest calling back and asking again. Good luck!

Got it! And found that the first operator was off by one digit, so I resent my optin and expedite request with the corrected case number.

03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

I also just received and paid my IV bill.

And I was also curious about sending the AOS and IV packages together.

Finally, I the I-864 receipt page linked to a checklist that said your application should be stapled together. And your full tax returns (or transcripts) should also be stapled in order. Is that the correct way to send everything? Should the rest of my documents be paper clipped as appropriate? How about the DS-230 package? Staples or paper clips?

I'm still waiting for NVC to send the IV fee invoice by email.. I was hoping to wake up to it like I did the DS3032 email I got yesterday.. So far no luck. The invoice showed up on the portal page but its not active yet!
