Yup, if you have all the details of your husband's US bank account, then I see no problem with you doing it.

Great! Thanks :)

How do you know if the DS-3032 has been accepted? My husband received an auto response shortly after I sent it (before the AOS invoice was generated) but it was fairly generic--it made no mention of what my husband actually submitted.

I've paid the AOS fee (showing up as paid) and now I am able to pay the IV fee. Does this imply the DS-3032 has been accepted?

Hi friends,

do we get an email when our case is complete in NVC?

or can only known from an operator?

Usually, it's only those doing EP that get case complete emails. But lately, there have been a few non-EP cases that get the case complete email.

To make sure, I'd suggest calling every single day and asking updates on the case. Calling the AVR is a good idea as well.

Usually, NVC replies to the email sent saying it was approved or that the info was updated. The response you got was just an auto-reply.

If you're able to pay the IV fee, then yes, the DS-3032 was accepted. The NVC doesn't always reply to the DS-3032 email.

I want to stretch this a bit - for a visual indication.

IF the USCitizen Spouse IS using the ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL,

then

WHEN the IV fee bill shows up as payable (the click through link actually works when it's clicked)

then

The DS-3032 has been successfully added to the casefile.

It's a stopping point, to be sure - this DS-3032/IV fee pay-ability..

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi there!

I just received the IV bill invoice by email, and the checkbox on the portal became active :)

WOW. Finally !! You must be all a-quiver..

Please let us know the time diff, that delta, between WHEN YOU PAID to 'SIGN IN FAIL', ya?

How long do you have to send your answer if NVC generates a checklist on the IV package?

About a year !!!

NVC gives you a year between each thing (DS-3032, I-864, DS-230)

if you keep in contact with them, even via email.

I tried to log into the NVC Payment page to see if my invoice is ready and it's coming up SIF.. Anyone know why this is? I checked yesterday and I was able to sign in.

Also should I email the DS 3032 now or wait?

When I got this message, I called the NVC. They told me they were invoicing my fee bill. They also said, it's possible to slow them down by continually trying to login. They were nice and I believed they were being sincere about it.

Hi everyone!

We finally have an interview date for February 13th!! YAY!!!

I have a question to any IR-1/CR-1 Filers who have already been interviewed at the Embassy in London. The e-mail states this:

Reminders

* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted to the

NVC must be brought to the visa interview.

* The applicant must bring his/her medical examination results to the visa interview in an

envelope sealed by the medical office.

* The applicant must bring the correct size and number of photographs to the visa

interview. They must measure 2 inches by 2 inches (5 cm by 5 cm) on a white

background.

* IF a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) AND provided the NVC with proof of

an IRS Federal Income Tax Extension in lieu of a Federal Income Tax Return, the

applicant must bring the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax Return to the visa

interview.

* Failure to present all necessary documents to the Consular Officer will result in the

applicant's immigrant visa being refused at the initial interview.

Even though we sent the original documents to NVC, should I still take them with me to the interview? I have read in reviews that people have done so.

Also, my medical exam results are not in an envelope.

Thanks!

Congrats! We have our interview on February 13th also!!!

Yeah the interview letter they sent said 'case has been completed and forwarded to the consulate', but the AVR still only says case complete and doesn't give a date for forwarding. I guess I'll just wait a couple of days and see if it changes.
