2- for the medical exam i didn't call any of the listed hospital yet but my question is it true that El Shrouk hospital have no appointment just walk in and we will have our medical done i'm asking because i did call the other place Anglo-american but they are so busy and looks like we will have very waiting time to get in?? and what is the average waiting time to get the medical report back from the hospital??

3-plus the passport style pic .does we need to send the 5 x 5 inch Photo as well there was no info about this one too on packet 3 ?

We have also recently received packet 3 and so I am basing it on what we did

1- I called and asked about paying the $350- if we have to pay part at the CIB they said no, that now we just pay it all at the embassy come the day of the interview. Also, in the email they sent with packet 3 it said to pay $350 at the interview. So i hope that is correct- you can call to double check.

2- Call and ask- my fiance was able to schedule not sure which doctor but he got the appointment within 2 days and got the medical report after a week or so.

3- Yes, you need to attach the 5x5cm NOT 5X5 INCHES (ITS 2x2 INCHES) picture on form DS-165. There is a special box made for your to attached the picture its at the bottom right of one of the pages. But you need to have two copies of this form so two picture one for each copy. We also put 2 extra pictures attached to a blank sheet just in case.

Hope this helps!

1- You pay the fee at the interview.

2- You call and make an appointment for your medical. My fiance got the results within a week. Remember you should NOT open them.

3- Take your pictures 2x2 on a white background, full face frontal.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

#2-my husband got his medical done in cairo but he called first to check if the doctor from the list will be there and what days; so they told him he can come at anytime and when the doctor is available; they did not want to schedule apt for him; also he told me when he got there their was a long wait and lots of people but somehow he managed to get in and out fast; from what he said he was send to a different building for blood work and fees were a bit more than what's listed on the web site. (we are CR-1) Good luck; make sure you see one of the doctors listed on the embassy's doctors list, bring in a print out or letter showing he needs a medical for visa; and do not open the results! (sometimes they will give them back or just send it to the embassy) It usally takes a week or so for the results, my husband works in another city but his brother lives in Cairo so he was able to pick up the results for him.

How much was the medical? My stubborn husband won't call and ask. He says 400 pounds is enough and I think it could cost more. He has never had an injections so he will need all of them. Any help would be more than appreciated. :bonk:
