I am not but they will never do what they should.

No campaigning until 30 days before the election. No primaries. No radio or Television advertising. Funding limited to voluntary tax "check off" funds, divided evenly between candidates.

We only need to do ONE thing regarding unions in this country and nothing else...make membership in every union for every employee voluntary. Job done. You ARE pro-choice, right?

the amount of energy(money) put into the months of campaigning seems execessive to me. are there not better things to be doing?

for example:

if you own a giant cattle ranch in texas, should you not be tending to your herd?

if you are a governor/congressman/president/, should you not be governing/doing stuff?

Public servants should serve the public, we pay them. 30 days before the election, shut down congress and go campaign. Until then, do your job.

All the politicians KNOW how to fix the problem, just as with immigration, but they do not WANT to fix the problem, instead they introduce legislation designed to mislead their constituency that they do care and are doing something. Bernie is not going to do anything to threaten HIS campaign funds.

While we ar it we can do away with "districting" and simply have "at large" elections for congressman like we do for Senators. The oppression of minorities by special districting for them should not be tolerated. Districting to "favor" minorities simply reduces their political influence by removing their influence from other districts. Seems strange to encourage "diversity" and then draw convoluted lines around certain groups to remove their influence from as many districts as possible.

If a state gets 6 representatives then there should be a list with the words "Vote for 6" The TOP 6 get the positions.

Yes, there are many visas for corporate family members available. L and H visas are pretty popular in our "family".

After telling businesses that they can no longer spend money to get their voice heard then citizens decide to go after the businesses and make them pay more and themselves less in taxes. The citizens start a smear campaign to get the citizens to hate the businesses and go along with this. The businesses can't even then go and spend money to get their side out there and combat the smears or stories against them. Seems one sided to me but it does sound like an idea that Socialists would love.

All the problems in this country, from wars to unemployment due to outsourcing comes from one source of incredible evil: corporate money in politics. When those who can afford to spend the most can decide who gets elected, can decide who gets air time and newspaper coverage, then it's not voting freely anymore.

It takes an incredibly dumb person not to realize this.

If corporations want to donate money, I'm all for it. Let them make tax-deductible donations into a big pot from which all candidates' election campaigns will be financed, equally.

I agree sort of. I suggest a volutary "check off" or donation into a huge pot shared equally. I suppose donations from corporations would serve just as well. Wonder how many there would be? Not that I care really.

After elminating corporate influence from the government you implement the FAIR TAX which removes any sort of tax on business (business does not pay taxt anyway, they COLLECT tax and pass it on to the government) so that business has no need to get their voice heard and can go about their business. This then removes the political games from our government's revenue stream, so they have no need to do anything but productive work.

The only losers are politicians and lobbyists. Because of THAT, it will never happen.
