Filing Canadian taxes from USA

hey everyone!

I have my interview at the vancouver consuate this friday. And if al goes well, I'l be moving to the USA in with my hunny!

The job im currently working at gives T4's a little late every year, we get ours like March 6 every year or something like that.

Since ill be gone at the end of February in the USA can I get my job to mail my T4 to a family member here and then have them mail it to me in the USA?

Is it easy to do your taxes for canada doing it from the USA? how does it work?

If you've been self-filing your taxes in Canada, no problem whatsoever. Otherwise, ask some firms (such as Jackson-Hewitt or H&R Block).

Is it easy to do your taxes for canada doing it from the USA? how does it work?

You can file using your usual form on paper and mail it or you can use software and print it and mail it....efile isn't an option outside Canada. If your taxes aren't complicated just download the appropriate form from the CRA website, fill it out and send it in.

Absolutely! just give your company your US address and ask they to mail your T4 to US and they will do it.
