Hi everyone! Me and my husband checked my case status and it appeared, " Post Decision Activity " but I haven't undergo medical and interview yet.

Does this mean that i don't need to go for med and interview? If so, then it is such a wonderful blessing to me from God. What will be the next step

since my status is in "Post Decision Activity"? I am just curious about this so any answer will help. Thank you and Happy New Year

godsgrace,

post decision activity means you ll soon be getting notifications from nvc about what the next steps will be. It is a journey but usually goes by quickly if you reply to their requests in a timely manner. just do your research and stay on the ball in terms of applications and forms you need to fillout. As for the onterview and medical exam they are unconditional meaning you HAVE to do them eventually.

good luck

The above would be correct for a K1 visa, but this is for a spouse. It is also not going to be a K3 visa. It will be CR1 or IR1. USCIS doesn't issue visas, so their decision would be to approve the petition that allows you to apply for a visa. Three more times to mail papers to the National Visa Center and two more fees to pay. THEN, NVC will schedule your interview and you can get the medical.

I already have a case # for I-129F (k3).My husband paid $88 for AOS. What papers do we have to mail to NVC?

I already have a MNL case#. And my husband paid $88 for AOS. Do I need to go to BPI now to pay the visa fee? How to sched interview online?

If your husband paid the 88 fee, it's for the CR1 process. Your WAC case number for the I-129F is meaningless at this stage. I doubt you have more than one MNL number. The MNL number is for a CR1 visa. All the fees except for your medical will be mailed to NVC, as will your original civil documents. Time to have the USC study the NVC shortcuts and tune in to CR1. Forget K3.

Thank you for all the replies...anyway, I checked the emails that my husband forwarded to me. I now realized that my case has been routed for CR1.

I just thought that I'm still in K3 since we first received a notice from NVC of my approved I-129F, Then 2 days ago, my husband received a notice

to pay AOS. He paid it immediately and we have to wait 2-3 business days before the fee status is paid, right? before taking the next step.

to the OP -

alas - you got that from the USCIS status portal -

and your casefile has been at NVC for more than a month.

The USCIS portal page is not useful 'to check' after the casefile is at NVC.

I see, from yer timeline, that yer almost done at NVC.

Please, I beg of you - not post anymore in the K-3 forum - yer pursuing an IR-1/CR-1 visa, instead and it really mucks up the K-3 forum for the wrong visa type - PLUS not so many folk READ this forum that much anymore as the K-3 'option' is mostly dead.

Going forward, have yer USCitizen Spouse follow up with the DS-230 submittal to NVC, and pay particular attention to things gleaned with the USCitizen Spouse CALLS INTO NVC and speaks with a NVC Tele-Operator, asking about casefile status.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
