Hello Tahoma,

How are you? I am going to request for extension do you know the email address of the embassy?

Check out the "Frequently Asked Questions About the K-1 Fiancé(e) Visa" on the U.S. Embassy Manila's website. It says tthe following:

How much time is given to complete the K-1 visa application?

A K-1 petition is valid for four months from the date of its approval. But this may be revalidated by a consular officer provided that both parties are still legally free to marry. It is recommended to gather all the necessary documents for the visa interview appointment as soon as possible.

U.S. Embassy Manila link.

Also, I can't find the link, but I've read elsewhere that the Embassy will revalidate an I-129F petition two times. Counting the original four-month validity, two extensions would make the petition valid for a total of one year.

Just make sure you request the extensions from the Embassy. Let them know that you want an extension, that you are still legally free marry, and that you still intend to get married.

Happy New Year! :star:

Hey Thomas! Kicking back in the Phils, thought I would see what all are doing on the other side of the world. Sunny and humid Sunday morning here.
