I have been planning on doing DCF in Delhi, but have now read that you can either go to Delhi or send it to the Chicago lockbox.

I live 48 hours by train from delhi and wondering if it would be better just to send the I-130 to Chicago. I have a 10 month son and trying to figure out the best option.

If I send it to the Chicago lockbox from an international address, is it processed completely in the US or is is forwarded to the local embassy here?

If it is going to be treated the same as if I applied in the US, then I will just go to the embassy in Delhi, but if it will be processed here still and the only time difference will be sending it to chicago , then it would be much easier then taking a baby all the way to Delhi.

IF anyone has any experience with this I would really appreciate your help and advice :)

It will be treated like a US case, so will take significantly longer than DCF.
