I have been double checking the documents that my fiancee sent me & I noticed that all of the documents were signed except the form I-129F. I think she forgot to sign it. I'm wondering if this can lead to a 221g form.

Any feedback or information is much appreciated. By the way, my interview is already this 9th. :-)

Makes no sense! Even with No timeline you must have got a NOA1/NOA2 and a Case Number to get an Interview. An RFE would have been Issued a long time ago. (No Signature)....

Update your Timeline. I don't forsee a worry.

You're the fiancee oversea(well only for a couple of weeks more:) )?

It's only the petitioner who has to sign the i-129f, and that's when it was submitted as a petition at USCIS. If it was signed when it was sent to USCIS there's no need for it now other than for personal use.

Good luck with the interview.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Here's a little story that I hope will take your mind off of your upcoming interview for a moment...

The I-129F that I sent to the USCIS had no tick marks in any of the boxes. None. All of the tick-mark boxes were blank. When I filled out the I-129F on my computer, I ticked all of the necessary boxes. However, when I printed the I-129F, for some reason the tick marks did not print with the rest of the document. Well, I signed it, dated it, and threw it into an envelope with the rest of the documents. I didn't check the I-129F before I sent my packet to the USCIS. :bonk:

Despite not having any tick marks in any of the boxes, my I-129F was approved by the USCIS. I did not receive an RFE. Eventually, my I-129F packet made its way to the U.S. Embassy Manila. At Chinook's interview, the consular officer approved Chinook's visa on the condition that we submit another page three of my I-129F. The CO required a signed original, not a copy. The CO didn't care about the un-ticked boxes on page one or on page two of my I-129F. She just wanted a signed and dated original page three.

As you know, there are quite a few boxes to "x" on pages one and two of the I-129F....Male/Female...Married/Single/Divorced...Born in the U.S./Naturalized...Filed for any other alien fiancée?...Is my fiancée related to me?...Did we meet through an international marriage broker? You get the idea. None of these boxes were checked off.

Still, the CO wanted only page three. The only un-ticked box the CO was interested in was the one asking whether I had been convicted of three or more crimes involving drugs or alcohol. That's it. Chinook waited patiently in Manila for the new page three. It cost me $40 to FedEx that piece of paper to Manila. It was signed and dated, and had a tick mark in the proper box. Nope, no convictions.

As soon as Chinook received page three, she hustled over to the Embassy. She somehow talked her way into the building, and she submitted page three at one of the windows, along with a copy of the 221g and her passport. She received her visa one week later. :D

All of the waiting and hoping throughout the visa process was worth it, because we are now happily married and approaching our third wedding anniversary. We are looking forward to celebrating out third anniversary by taking an Alaska cruise.

Best wishes for a smooth interview and a speedy visa. I hope you are back into the arms of your sweetheart very soon. :star:

Regards...
