she wants to book her appointment for 3 weeks from today. we want to be pro active as best we can and have this and immunizations done asap. we just dont want to get it done and have them say you should have waited now go do it again.

The results are generlly good for only 12 months, http://www.uscis.gov/i-693 Leave our self enough time to get everything completed and written up by the doctor and get your sealed envelope. It is a inconvenience to get ####### done but done is done.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Hello...you won't be able to schedule the medical appointment until your case has been approved by NVC and your wife receives the interview letter. She will need to take the interview letter with her for her medical appointment. The medical is good for 12 months, but I would double check that as each country may be different. Review the US Embassy in the UK's website and do some research for immigration visas. Some embassies in different countries require additional information than what is required by NVC.

Good luck and I hope for a speedy visa approval.

You should not obtain the vaccinations or other services until you have recieved your interview date. The embassy doctors require you to have your interview date prior to making an appointment. Also, be patient and be wise....for example; the US embassy in Peru required 14 or 15 vaccinations. However; after my wife's visit to the embassy doctor....it was determined that she only required 4 vaccines and the doctor said the rest were inappropriate (ie. wait and save money on vaccines!). So, the doctor gave her 4 shots and passed her for the others.

Good Luck,

Magnus

You've gotten answers from other countries that aren't true for a medical in London. Try NHS for free shots at any time. They don't have to do them free since it's for immigration, but many will. If you know your London case number (LNDxxxxxxx assigned at NVC) that's all Knightsbridge clinic will need to schedule an appointment. You don't have to have an interview letter. They do like to see the police report, so hope you didn't mail your only copy off to NVC. A photocopy is fine.

This is the information about Knightsbridge. The medical questionnaire to fill out before the appointment is on the last page.

Try posting in the UK Forum for London specific answers. Embassy and medical exam procedures are different depending on the country.
